Hi Julie. My knee recovery is going well 6 week post op. I have heard in another month I should start focusing more on glutes strengthening than quads to prevent muscle imbalance that leads to wearing down of knee new pain etc do you have any chair or standing videos that focus more on glutes
Hi Cathy, it's definitely hard working the glutes while seated but it is possible. While seated, you can lift the hips while holding onto the side of the chair, and squeeze the glutes. If you're on the floor and laying on your back, you can do the same movement. In terms of videos, when you're on my main channel, put 'legs' into the search bar. You'll see two workouts that should work well. The best one I think will be the one that says 'legs, hips & glutes'.
