    3 easy weight loss smoothie recipes for breakfast. I'll show you how to build a smoothie using a base, fruit, natural sweetener and flavour. All recipes are fully raw and vegan. These can be had as meal replacement shakes.

    #1 TROPICAL GREEN SMOOTHIE (Serves 1-2) ►01:58
    1 cup coconut water
    1 cup spinach
    1/2 apple, diced
    1 mango, diced
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    Blend everything together, let it cool in the fridge for a while & serve!

    #2 BANANA DATE SHAKE (Serves 1-2) ►02:48
    1 cup coconut milk
    2 bananas, frozen for about 6 hours
    5 dates, pitted
    2-3 ice cubes
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    Blend everything together, and serve!

    #3 WATERMELON CHIA SMOOTHIE (Serves 1-2) ►03:24
    2 cups watermelon
    1 cup pomegranate
    1/4 beetroot, peeled
    1 tablespoon mint leaves
    1 tablespoon chia seeds
    Blend everything together, let it cool for a while, and serve!

    You can also make beetroot juice
    Coconut water+ beetroot+ mint+ cinnamon
    It will taste good
    We don't need sweetener because beetroot also has its own sweetness.

    Yes but it's also important to consider the fruit combinations. I've read that you cannot combine sweet and sour fruits and so on. (Of course you already mentioned how cow's milk can be replaced)
    Also, it is adviced in ayurveda to not combine fruits and vegetables together.
    Also adding oats to the smoothies give you a little bit more energy if you're just starting to switch to smoothie breakfast :)

    Good Honey is a natural sweetener, Subah. Also, we need warmth in our bodies from eating cooked foodies or having a cup of hot tea. Just saying, you know. This Christmas season, it's rather cold, and we don't even live in winter climate.

    Do you recommend having smoothie once in awhile? I love having smoothies but I don't always feel satisfied after having one. My blood sugar spikes to high sometimes and I still feel REALLY hungry. Would it help if I added flax seed meal and/or chia seeds to it? or can I have a smoothie and maybe a grain like oatmeal or avocado toast afterward?

    Really very healthy and fab smoothies...just want to clear my doubt for using raw spinach..now a days we get pesticide covered greens..is it safe to use them as it is??     Smoothies are very high in sugar because of oxidation. When fruits are blended they are touching air too much which increases the amount of sugar and decreases the amount of health benefits. Something I have learned is eating fruits raw is best, one, once in a while is okay, but not always. Blended veggies is alot more nutritional. But I do love your videos. And will follow some recipes! Thank you!

    Frozen bananas will lose their nutrition when freezed. Wouldn't this be Tamasic instead of Sattvik?

    Ayurveda suggests milks too.
    And is meat that bad?.it’s mentioned in ancient history that civilisations are using meat since time immemorial.

      Hi Shivansh,
      We don't recommend milk. According to our scriptures, pure cow milk is not wrong. In fact, producing milk and drinking milk has been sanctioned by God in our scriptures. The problem is not in the milk itself, but the milk that we are getting today due to the following reasons -
      1. Adulteration - The commercial milk that we’re getting today is hardly even milk. It is a white-liquid heavily treated with contaminants such as urea, starch, caustic soda, detergents, white paint, and refined oil. These contaminants are deliberately added to milk as they provide thickness, preserve milk and increase the volume of milk to make more milk, fast.

      2. Mistreatment & torture of cows - in the passage of time, the demand for dairy and dairy products around the world exceeded the natural capability of cows producing milk. This leads the farmers to torture the cows through hormonal injections to produce more milk. The calves are separated from their mother cows and they don't get the milk they deserve. Imagine if the same happened with a human mother. Her child is separated from her and her breastmilk is taken away for commercial use. Hence the cows fall extremely sick & get depressed. How can we humans stay healthy by drinking the milk of such sick cows?
      3. Our inability to digest milk - Even if we get 100% pure milk, straight from our own cow, we cannot digest it if we are living a sedentary lifestyle. Milk is a very heavy food by nature. It takes an immense amount of energy to digest it. Therefore, it is not recommended for people who do not work out for more than an hour a day or those who are curing a disease. However, athletes and growing children can have milk provided that it is Vedic milk.
      Vedic milk is milk that complies to the following 8 conditions -
      1. The milk should be obtained from your own farm, or from the farm of a known friend or relative, where you are sure that the cow is loved and cared for.
      2. The calf has the first right over that milk. If any milk remains after, only then shall you have it.
      3. The cow should be fed good quality grass.
      4. The cow should not be injected with any vaccines or chemicals.
      5. Even if all 4 laws above prevail, you cannot drink milk if you are trying to heal a disease or living a sedentary lifestyle. You may only drink it if you are an athlete (exercising for more than 3 hours a day) or a child whose height is growing.
      6. The milk should be preferably raw or at most, boiled lightly only once.
      7. The milk should come from cow alone, and no other animal. No buffalo milk. No goat milk.
      8. Treat one glassful as milk as a complete meal. Do not combine it with anything.
      Since it is near to impossible to achieve all the above 8 conditions, we recommend you to have coconut milk instead.
      Coconut milk is the best replacement for cow milk. It has all the nutrition you could imagine in cow's milk. The best part is that it is pure and easy to digest. We recommend you to always make it at home and never buy store-bought milk which is lathered with synthetic chemicals.

      Those who want to gain muscles can also follow the satvic lifestyle completely that includes fasting, enema, wet pack, sunbathing, sun gazing, satvic diet plan and some regular exercise. Add more vegetable sprouts and coconut to your diet. Vegetable sprouts are one of the most nutritious food items.

I'm just turn 23 and I have this problem from last 5 year. I had try s ok many medicine so many other things which could give me results to recover this but I get no results. This problem is genetic but I really want to do something about it. It's feel humiliating in front of other people when they comment about you. And I feel shy to go any where because of this. There is options like I can color my hair but I do not feel it's good. I have done hair color couple of time.

      Per my knowledge, you are absolutely correct. The recommendation is to not mix fruits and vegetables since they digest at different rates. But if you had to choose the better of two evils, which is, a blended smoothie or a pancake, cereals or other processed breakfasts which are far more unhealthy, then the pros out weigh the cons. :) . Once you have your health under control I guess you could get into those finer details of food combining. Good luck.

    Ur ingredients are not seasonal as u are mixing different season in one so it won't give good effect....' Maa Prakriti' has given different fruits for different season so that it can be digested, absorbed and assimilated in body nicely and give strength and immunity throughout the year

      Hi Preeti,
      Yes, you can have Oats, Quinoa, and Raagi in place of your grain meal. However, bear in mind that they require the same energy & time (around 18 hours) to digest as grains and therefore should be combined with a sufficiency of vegetables while eating to make it easier to digest. So, if you eat 1 cup of oats, eat at least 3 cups of vegetables along with it. Also, do not consume them for your breakfast. Our breakfast should always consist of fresh seasonal fruits.

      We freeze bananas for 4-6 hours for making the smoothie bowls for the sake of texture. If you simply add a fresh banana (although healthier) to your blender and blend it, you will have blended bananas as the result. But if you blend frozen bananas, you will have a much thicker, ice-cream like texture. Do not buy the store-bought frozen bananas. Freeze them at your own home. First, peel them, chop them, and then put them in your freezer for 4-6 hours, before using it in your smoothie bowl.
      Remember - Frozen bananas should only be taken as an occasional treat but not every day.

    You are referring it as "Satvic" and you are suggesting to use frozen banana which according to Aayurveda is considered as "Tamsik" food which we can compare to stale food...
    I am not doing sarcasm but just telling truth...I really believe so much in Aayurveda...

      I was just suggesting that if you are using word "Satvic" then please try to maintain its proper meaning...
      And those bananas which we are talking about even if those are frozen at home,those don't retain their all properties of a "Satvic fruit" after freezing them for 4-6 hours....
      And yes you are doing great job..... don't consider my statement in sarcastic way...I was suggesting to use proper Aayurvedic system if you wanna go in that way...and Yes These world needs youth like you all...All the best...
