- Picked up a black and decker pressure washer to replace a failed Karcher unit which had suffered a hairline crack in the plastic pump.
I start with the basics of assembly and then test the 1400E on a few surfaces to see what my first impressions are.
Overall, it seems like a very decent compact pressure washer. Авто/Мото
What did you film this on, a potato?
Wait!!!! We should connect the pipe to a tap? Or a bucket?
I didn't try with a bucket, just used the hose connected to the tap. 😇👍
@@gtd65 ohhh
Pressure is coming irregular...how to solve this problem in BW16 model
I think I'd check to make sure the water feed is consistent and providing good flow?
@@gtd65 Disconnecting from pressure gun gives constant flow at same pressure but after connecting with gun it pressure up and down at fixed intervals...no leakage from any parts...?same problem with both the nozzle
@@narayanventures Previous to this B&D unit, I had a couple of Karcher pressure washers. Both of them would have short periods where the water would not come out of the lance. The machine would rev up and down several times then return to normal function (usually).
Water flow appears to be consistent from my outside tap.
At times, I'd have to let the pressure washer settle by waiting 10~15 seconds then things would continue as per normal. Both of those units were pretty old and it's likely the pumps were worn.
Fortunately, I've not observed this behaviour with the B&D unit.
Is your unit older or had high levels of use?
It might be an idea to contact your local B&D customer service, to see if they can provide any helpful advice?
Can it do concrete I plan on buying one
867, I've used it on concrete paving slabs and its got more than enough pressure to make a good job.
Hey...... How's The Machine Right Now?.......Is it working???
Yes, all good. No problems so far
@@gtd65 that's awesome
it not self priming
Hassan, I've not tried to use it from a barrel/bucket etc., Only using the water supply via hose connection.
Too long, too much umming and eeerming, 12 mi utes in and you don't even see it in use. Ffs waste of time
