Touch less snow is a completely different system to their other snowfoam. Touchless is to be used with touch-on ceramic shampoo. Touchless snowfoam can be used in varying amounts for how dirty the car is and the season. I use it always as a prewash. In the winter I use 350ml in a 1000ml bottle as that's what the PIR worked out to be. I use around 200ml in a 1000ml bottle in the summer or sometimes less as I'll generally take a view on what crud is stuck to the panels and adjust accordingly. Touch- less is is a more superior snowfoam that Bilt Hamber makes in my opinion. It just brakes down the dirt better and you can see the results in the foam on the floor. Just be sure to buy Touch-on sachets in conjunction with the Touch-less snowfoam for the whole system to work properly 👍
Bilt Hamber Touch-on ceramic shampoo sachets (buy 12 of them, one per month that's all you need) in conjunction with the Touch-less snowfoam is found on the links that Pan has shared above
Hi there. There are people that live outside US, Canada or UK that would LIKE to try the products. How about some links for EU customers? Best regards.
Pan. PIR. This is not a bilt Hamber issue. if you tell people to use a product in a lance given ratio. Eg 1 to 10. The PIR variance across all the different formats of pressure washer and lance combos is vast. And the effective variance in PIR could be huge. Eg 1to10 could mean 1%pir but it could also mean 0.3 PIR in another system. Therefore understanding PIR and how to calculate it. Is a basic thing but it's something people should know for their own benefit not just with BH products, you should think PIR, never lance ratio. It takes 1 minute to do it, you do it for your setup and then you know forever. You said in this video your example ratio 1to20 in the Lance. That typically yields about 0.35% PIR. When minimum PIR should be 2%. Typically 1to2 is a decent ratio for heavy cleaning with af and tl (to give rough idea only as ratio means huge potential variance). Your ratio would be very thin and low for example
Yeah I understand all of that Jon, and that’s great in theory, but I still think they would benefit from simplifying things as far as instructions are concerned. It’s not normal having to write such a long description to explain something that should be as simple to use as a snow foam. This isn’t rocket science here hehe. Again, that’s just my opinion. They are good products, but I just wish they were simpler to figure out. Having to measure a PIR for your specific setup, even if you only have to do it once, isn’t simple by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t think these are meant for the general public who doesn’t have as much detailing experience as you and I. That being said, I hope you’ll have a great 2022 year and I wish you all the best! Perhaps we’ll see each other in person once again soon! ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer happy new year m8 keep smashing it for 2022. There certainly is a 'thing' with PIR. Loads seem to struggle with it. But there is no real solution for a brand.
I agree it could be simpler, but you haven’t done justice to the snow foam in this video as the PIR was nowhere near to what it needed to be. Great video as always though!
@@PanTheOrganizer How isnt it simple? Filling your foam cannon with 1 litre of water and dispensing it into a bucket once foam cannon is empty measure the volume in bucket and times by 0.04?????? Just pointless to do the video if youre not going to follow the actual instructions
I actually really appreciate Bilt Hamber giving very specific instructions on how to mix and achieve certain PIRs. I hate this world we live in where everything needs to be dumbed down to the dumbest person in the room. The instructions are super simple…shoot a full cannon of water into a container, when cannon is empty measure the total amount of liquid in container, then multiply that by the number they give you, that’s how much product you need to put into your cannon. It’s simple, will tune the product ratios to every individual setup, and will save people wasting additional product for no reason, or using too little and not achieving desired results. What’s the issue here exactly? I wish more companies were that exact, I actually hate some of these wishy-washy general, non-clear, instructions. Cause then you’re never sure if what you’re doing is achieving best possible results from the product, or you start over using and burning money.
also it isn't that hard to do just once. note down how much you need to add to the foam gun. After that one time it's just adding it every single time. I really don't see the issue with it
There are not many companies that provide PIR in their usage directions. So I was wondering and can't really find any confirmation, but basically if there is no PIR guidance, you can still calculate how much product is needed for your own cannon, right? Just figure out how much water it takes in total to empty your foam bottle and then use that total volume for more commonly used 1:X delution ratio, just keeping in mind that this is the ratio not for the foam bottle volume but for the total volume you figured out earlier. Am I right?
And the fact we use Liters and Mililitres here in the UK, and not Ounces and Gallons like Merica and Canada (apparently). And I totally agree with you. The more consise and detailed the instuctions are, the more likely I am to use the product. And it only ever has to be done once for your setup. I was scratching my head wondering what the complaint was to be honest.
guys, how would you rate DSW for chemical resistance? I have had fusso on my car, but once they started salting the roads, the front and sides of the car were stripped of the protection. I want to try something else before the winter is over.
I was introduced to this brand by John at Forensic Detailing too, but waiting for them to come to Canada. Thanks for the review, as I'm always looking for good value.
The way Bilt Hamber explains dilutions for a snow foam (PIR) is absolutely correct.. It is completely wrong to give recommendations on dilutions in the actual container for foam cannon as there are 1000 different foam cannons on the market, high pressure washers, with different water volume out and pressure. So the only correct thing to recommend is to calculate the panel impact ratio, exactly Bilt Hamber does. BTW: Pan mixes Auto Foam completely wrong in this video as well. 1:20 in container for foam cannon is far too weak. And we see that in the film. The car is still very dirty after he dries it..
Absolutely correct! It's not a pH nuteral shampoo that you can just put som in a foam canon and spray on. It is important to have correct dilution to get correct cleaning ability.
Agree. His ratio measure is both misleading to consumers and clearly far too weak after accounting for water through the cannon. I calculated mine out and 4% PIR was essentially neat Auto Foam in the cannon. Works fantastic and I only use about 1/3 of a cannon fill for each prewash. BH is the best in my book (when used as directed😳)
@@chriskoeplin6085 He does not understand the PIR dosage instructions. Its too weak at 1:20 in the foam canon, I use it 1:1. He said its got amazing cleaning power. It will be like water. You are right it is misleading.
I have a few different products including Turtle Wax ceramic wax and Dragons Blood for the iron particles for the paint and brakes which is great but the rest of it is Bilt Hamber. Stick with them and you’ll do great
I’ve used Bilt Hamber for years now, and I think 90%+ of UK detailers use their foam. You honestly can’t beat them. No fancy labels, no marketing, non caustic, great dilution and amazing cleaning strength 👌🏼 There newer bottles are a lot more user friendly as well as the shampoo use to have a huge opening so you could very easily over pour the product. Great review Pan 👍🏼
Everyone in the UK smiling watching this video… 😁 Autofoam I normally use 100ml product to about 600ml water - a little more in winter or if dirtier. Shampoo - I think you’ve over complicated it, I personally stick between 15-20ml in the bucket and go from there - ignore their tea spoon comments: I’m not sure why they’ve even mentioned it… BH are huge in the UK (just for anyone outside of the UK wondering what all the fuss is about). To give context they are used by professionals / hobbyists alike as they are well known for their cleaning ability and vehicle protection. They also make waxes which again are no none sense but highly regarded Enjoy!
I think the dilution ratio for auto wash is a 50/50 dilution (I may be wrong) but I think the ratio used in the demo was too weak, but I could be wrong
The BH Range is amazing. Autowheel - Used neat on alloys or slightly diluted for bodywork. Surfex HD - 1:10 Exterior or 1:50 Interior Touchless/Auto Foam - 4% PIR which works out to be 50/50 product/water in my lance. Auto Wash - 5 ml per 10L
Yes defo same for me with auto foam! Don't really see how Pan would get 4PIR at 1 to 20, but I'm sure he knows what he is doing. Must have a powerful pressure washer.
Believe me, BH are the best in the game!!! Ive spent so much money and tried so many different brands but there's no comparison to majority BH products
What really captured me about the brand is the company specializes in corrosion and oxidation removal and protection. They then brought that to detailing supplies. Korosol is possibly my favorite iron remover it even pulled up the stains in my driveway as it rinsed from the car.
Hi Pan, greetings from England. Great video. I have been using all of the products that you featured for a couple of years and would highly recommend them all. It is not to difficult to work out the PIR ratios and you only need to do it once. Following this, I would recommend using a stronger ratio for the snow foams. For a dirty car, I use 300 ml in a 1 litre snow foam bottle to give a PIR of 4%. This ratio will leave a dirty car as featured here almost spotlessly clean, far cleaner than in the video. You also had concerns that these products could damage your LSP but I have had no issues with this.
That's really a lot of product though. I've been using it for a while, but it never wowed me yet. (I usually do a 1:10/100ml to 1000ml dilution) Do you mind explaining how to calculate the PIR??
@@sebster6031 For a very dirty car, with my set up I use 300ml of product and 600ml water in the snow foam lance. This is a P.I.R. of 4% and the results are amazing. If I'm in a hurry I just snow foam, rinse and go with a car thats more than 97% clean. To calculate PIR, fill your foam lance to your usual level with plain water. Using your pressure washer, spray into a bucket until the container is empty with the valve set for maximum soap. Then measure the contents of the bucket which will be the total amount of water that you would have put on the car. For a PIR of 4% multiply this quantity by 0.04 (for 2% multiply by 0.02 etc). The value that you get is then the amount of product that you need to put in your snow foam lance. Therefore if say you have 9l of water in your bucket, multiply this by 0.04 and you get 360 ml. So to achieve a PIR of 4% you need to add 360 ml of soap to you snowfoam lance and top up with water. There are videos on RUclips if my explanation isn't clear. Good luck.
The AutoFoam can also be used in a pump sprayer which makes the dilution simple as there’s one ‘dilution event’. If using a cannon, what BH say makes perfect sense as everybody has different pressure washer set ups which could massively impact how much of the product ultimately hits the car. It takes two minutes. Sorry to my North American friends, done in litres as I don’t use ounces Fill your Lance bottle with water, blast that into a bucket until it’s empty, see how many litres that is (helps if you have a bucket with markers in the inside), then times that by the strength you want, 1%, 2%, 4% or whatever which tells you how much AF to put in the lance bottle, then top up with water. Only have to do that once unless you change your pressure washer. For example, I fill my Lance bottle with water I spray into a bucket until the Lance bottle is empty The bucket has 12 litres of water in it I want 2% mix 12 x 0.02 = 240 I add 240ml of AF to the lance bottle and top up with water If in future I want a 4% solution, I double it to 480ml, if I want 1%, I halve it to 120ml. My 1 litre bottle will do 2-3 cars and I usually use a PIR of 1 or 2% so, a 5 litre bottle of products lasts for ages and is fantastic value, even with shipping as I no longer live in the U.K. It’s fantastic stuff, I wish I could buy it locally without having to pay a bit more for transport cost.
The PIR is done once to your pressure washer setup. If you have a soap/chemichal dispenser on your PW it's usually a 1:20 dilution or 5%. The problems is when you uses ounches and gallons. So if you take the time it's pretty simple to be doing. For an example to do it quickly. Messure up 10 ounches in the foamcannon bottle. Empty it on the max chemichal mix on the foamcannon into a bucket. Messure the amount of water in the bucket in ounches (proberly spelling it wrong sorry) and the total amount times 0.04. The result is the amount of Auto-Foam or Touch-less you need in the foamcannon bottle for every 10 ounches. And you will only to be doing it once. You can messure up the water in the amount that you will usually be useing on your vehical. Messure the total amount and have a bucket with amount marks on it for even easier. You can do this test to the minimum setting on the chemichal setting as well. It's not hard to count out what your PW give your foamcannon dilution at the highest or the lowest setting this way. Then you can write this up and use to other chemichal for getting better dilution ratio from soaps and other APC or what you foam on your vehical. Pro tips for BH Auto-Foam when it's winter months and very grimy conditions outside. Mix 50/50 with Auto-Foam and Surfex HD. Dial down from max chemichal setting to about a third part of the setting on the foamcannon. The cleaning ability is insane this way. I live in Sweden and have washed vehicals that's dirtier than the car in the video. With the Auto-Foam to 4-5% PIR I don't have any visible dirt left. Sure there are grime left but it's things that you need to be handwash to get rid off. But even with a very low dilution it shows it's capable cleaning ability in this video. Even if you where to fill the foamcannon bottle with 1:3 dilution on the max setting you will a highly jump in the cleaning ability. And still not be having it over the 4% PIR is my guess. Test it out on a winter dirty vehical. The downside with BH Auto-Foam is that's not so highly concentrated sadly. But for me it's worth it. If you have a car available with wash marring. Test to wax it with Bilt Hamber Auto-Balm wax. It's the best wax that I have used that covers light scratches. Also a huge benefit is that this wax also have korrosion inhibitors in it. Say you have a lot of open and rusty rockchips. Take the rust of with Korrosol and apply Auto-Balm and you have them rust free after 3-5 months. Or wax the bare metal on the undercarrige and edges that's damaged on some cars. It prolong the time before you need to be doing something about it. And also don't need to be polishing and it still looks great before it wears off LOL
I live in Scotland in the UK and Bilt Hamber is the best for all cleaning, it's reasonably cheap but high quality and is my go to for all cleaning purposes in my car. Also a product that Pan didn't include is touch on which is a ceramic based highly hydrophobic product that you can spray on your car with your snow cannon and simply rinse off and leaves a great finish. Especially during winter when you it's not so easy to apply a wee especially if you don't have a garage to work in. Great products.
Hi Pan thanks for another great in depth video on the Bilt Hamber products. I watch lots of Johns videos on the Forensic Detailing channel here in the UK and he got me started on the BH journey with his passionate review of BH Auto Foam
I now have several of the BH products and use these ones regularly. - Auto Foam at 4% PIR. The calculation method is on the 5L BH bottle and it took me 5 mins to calculate for my foam cannon and pressure washer which I never need to do again. It works out as 500ml product and 500ml water for me. - Auto Wash at 5ml per 10L bucket for my contact wash - Surfex HD at 10 parts water to 1 part Surfex in the 'IK Foamer 2' for my tyres and wheels - Auto wheel for alloy wheel decontamination - Auto QD at 10 parts water to 1 part QD as a drying agent for a streak free finish One BH product I'd like to see reviewed is their new 'Touch On' 30ml Crystalline hydrophobic treatment' for topping up your protection during the wash. Specifically how best to apply it quickly and effectively and its durability / hydrophobicity
I like your guidelines for the comments. I would challenge people to consider: Even though we all enjoy easy and simple, it’s often worthwhile to take the time and effort to calculate and be intentional-in many areas of our lives. In the long run, it’s usually more efficient and economical.
Hi pan, great to see bilt hamber on the channel. I find the bilt range extremely good value for money with extremely good cleaning power. I'm from the UK myself. Great video, keep up the good work. Hope you've had a good Christmas and have a happy new year
A little odd to read this - part Pan's post - on the other hand the fact that Bilt Hamber APPEARS to be new. Bilt Hamber is "old school" for Europeans, as this brand has been around for years. Similar to Koch Chemie and Sonax. The bad thing is that these brands are only now becoming known across the ocean. I myself live in Belgium. Similar to the Sonax Perfect Finish that was well established, but unprecedented in the States. BH positions itself among Koch Chemie, Nanolex, CarPro, Megs, etc. The quality is impeccable, and the price irresistible. They don't make 885 products for every application, but what they have works great. I would say order!
I use and love the Bilt Hamber Atom Mac. It is a dilutable product to spray on e.g. disc brakes to stop them from building a brown color after getting wet in the wheel wash proces.
BH offer amazing value it can’t be overstated. When I got into detailing this year I started with Surfex HD and some shampoo (not BH) and that got me going! Surfex HD is an incredibly versatile product, at the right ratios it can be used everywhere! I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into detailing, as universal product. Great review 👍🏻
To say that Mercedes had zero protection on it, that Auto foam did a great job at removing the amount it did! I’ve always been a fan of Bilt Hamber, if ever I’m cleaning a really dirty car I’ll apply Surfex HD to the car (dry) then rinse it off and apply Auto Foam, I’ve always found that works quite well. Great video Pan 👍🏼
@@chezchezchezchez nope, just love using their products. They are super cheap in the UK. Where as products from the US are pretty expensive(due to tax) Hope people give them a go.
I use the wheel cleaner at a 3:1 dilution for general maintenance and find it’s still highly effective and of course even better value. Same goes for the korrosol, for maintenance purpose 2:1/3:1 it’s still very effective. I’ve tried tonnes of snow foams, and while some look more impressive due to as you say the “shaving foam” thickness, I’ve yet to find one that cleans as well as auto foam, which lets face it is the whole point of the pre wash!
Hi Pan, in my pressure washer setup with my snow foam cannon I use the BH snowfoam undiluted and turn the knob to minimum amount of product. I have calculated this to be about 1.4% PIR. Turning the knob more open for 2.5 revolutions gives me just about 4% PIR. This way I "refill" my snowfoam canon usually to about 200 ml of pure product which suffices to prewash several cars. On more heavily dirty cars I go to about 4%, on the cleaner cars I tend to the minimum PIR my canon gives me.
According to the instructions auto wheels should be applied to a dry wheel. Also the dilution ratio seems very low compared to what I tend to see following the Bilt Hamber PIR guide.
Hi Pan , been using BH products for years in the Uk - awesome. I think you may have misinterpreted Auto Wheels - it’s fine on the discs , callipers, pads etc just kept it away from painted surfaces and plastics , although I’ve never had an issue. Great content as always!
Love Bilt Hamber products. I live in the UK. Dilution instructions are mind boggling but the more I use the product I will get there. Still find the cleaning power great. Thanks Pan and Happy New Year...
When I read the instructions for diluting touch less, I definitely had to re-read once or twice. With that said, with your average pH neutral snow foam, manufacturers can afford to recommend a dilution ratio in your foam cannon, even if the actual dilution coming out of the tip varies based on your setup. The worse that will happen is you will have more or less foam coming out. With BH pre washes being pH 12 and 13 respectively, you have much less margin of error for your dilution. If the solution hitting your panel is too concentrated, you might actually be doing some damage and stripping away coatings. What I found is that using a foam cannon is pretty pointless for this pre-wash, as it is very thin and runny. I use it in a pump sprayer (the 6L ones with the wand attachment). Calculating the dilution becomes very easy, as you just fill with water, ex: 2L, and then, for a 4% PIR, you calculate 2000ml x 0.04 = 80ml of product. I just atomize the solution on the whole car and undercarriage, then rinse away. I use maybe 500 to 750 ml of solution per wash.
500 to 750 ml per wash ?? With a 5 litre jug that’s only 10 washes per jug using the weaker measurement. That kills the product value …assuming my math is right. Lol.
@@chrisryan8894 Definitely sounds very high, I use 4% PIR which equates to 400ml product in my snow foam cannon. I get probably 3 car washes and a few motorbikes from each 1litres mix in my snowfoam bottle. So at 4%PIR which cleans really well I get 40 car washes for 18 euro. So just under 50 cent for a very strong prewash for a filthy car. It works great at 2% or 1% with a little bit of surfex mixed in for cars that dont need a heavy clean too.
@@chrisryan8894 I use 500ml of solution per wash, not product (solution = the product + water) If we need 80ml of product for 2000ml of water, then for 500ml of solution, I am only using 80*500/2000 = 20ml of product per wash. 5000ml jug / 20ml = 250 washes. Even if you were washing your car every single week, a jug would last you 5 years.
Hello from Norway. Firstly I will tell you that I have used BH for many years. The very best there is! Surfex HD is absolutely my favorite for general cleaning. For wheel cleaning I use corrosol because I have tried many other products but I mean there is nothing that beats corrosol. Next some criticism... When applying the snow foam you diluted it way to much, and the dwell time was too short. Next I was really frustrated by the way you waved around with the pressure washing...You have to start from the bottom and work your way up in a precise pattern. For washing the tires I use Surfex dilluted 1:10 and let it dwell for 5 minutes, the use a brush. After rinsing I will hit it again with Surfex, dwll time 3 min. And work the brush again. If the foam I create by brushing is brown, I will proseed until the foam is white. Then the rubber is super clean. I never add water in the snow foam bottle, and therefore I get the rich foam using the Auto foam. On extremely dirty work vehicles I also use neat SurfexHD in the foam cannon (This will not create rich foam) But the cleaning is outstanding! (Warm water will boost the effect of all Bilt Hamber products) Of course I also use a Pertrocemical asphalt remower on the lower panels and the rear end on all vehicles I am washing, because her in Norway the roads i completely drowned in salt in the winter.
I discovered BH a few years ago when searching for a good cavity wax. Since then I have bought several 5ltr cans of their lineup. Amazing products that do what they need to do, no fancy ads, no screaming colors or promises, they just work.
@@PanTheOrganizer from what I know is korrosol the runnier version of autowheel. That is more slimy to stick better on wheels. You can use both for the whole car. The ingredients are the same…..
Glad you finally got built hamber products reviewed , or us brits would of had to of chipped in to send John over to talk about microfibre buffing cloths with you 😂. These products last a long long time , autowheels is so strong I use every 3/4 weeks and a little goes a long way. I have all these products to keep alongside the more “bling” products for when the car is less dirty.
Hey Pan I have used BH products for age’s now. With regards to the dilution ratio’s. The only difficult one to workout is the autofoam or touchless. The real key thing is to work out the PIR of your pressure washer. This is the really important part , once you have that worked out it’s easy. There is actually a method/ process that you can carry out ( i have the instructions if you are interested?) once worked out you can put neat ( yes neat) Autofoam in the lance bottle.
@@ssam3447 sure thing. Instructions below 1. Screw the lance dial clockwise fully until it stops, then unscrew it 2 full turns. 2. Using a measuring jug fill the lance with exactly 600ml of water. 3. Discharge the lance into a bucket until the bucket contains exactly 10ltrs. 4. Measure the remaining amount of water left in the lance. You want it to have drawn out 400ml so you're wanting it to have 200ml left over. 5. If you've got less than 200ml left, the draw rate is too high so unscrew it anticlockwise by 1/2 a turn and repeat steps 2-4. If you've got more than 200ml left, the draw rate is too low so screw it in clockwise by 1/2 a turn and repeat steps 2-4. 6. Once you have exactly 200ml left, this means your lance is discharging 400ml of product per 10ltr = 4% PIR. You can now just fill it with neat AF with no pre-dilution required.
And just a pointer, the 5% ratio is panel impact ratio (PIR) and not the dilution in the foam canon. So it’s better to go 1:10 in the canon since it will be further diluted 🙂 You will get a cleaner car and some what ticker foam.
Here is a tip I use on BH range use Surfex HD in a snowfoam cannon to cover car then rinse off after 5 mins then with the remainder of the Surfex HD leave in the cannon then use the Auto Foam in the same cannon mixed with Surfex HD to give it some extra cleaning power on the snowfoam use hope this helps some of your viewers
Just to let anyone know , the auto foam is not meant to be used like Pan shows us , seems pan just tested different ratios and found what works best for him, but you need to calculate the PIR for your pressure washer and foam cannon, but normally it’s roughly 30-50% product in the foam cannon but best to work out the PIR, the foam will be thicker however it runs off the panels quite quickly so it’s bit like most snow foams, but one good thing is you only need to work the PIR for your setup once
Great video. I had never heard of BH before. Definitely will be trying them out. I’ve always preferred a runny snow foam. My thinking has always been that if it’s running down the panels it’s able to remove particles. Shaving cream looks good but is only for show in my opinion. I’ve now started to use an APC pre rinse, so the BH products should fit in perfectly.
You won't need an apc pre rinse. Just apply Touch-less snow foam to a dry car, you'll only dilute the foam if you prewash it and make the cleaning powder less effective. Use their car shampoo to get the harder stuff off then use touch-on shampoo as LSP and check out the extreme hydrophobic properties its has. All of BH products are highly condensed, you'll have you use another container to store products in whilst you water them down to fulfill a specific need. Such as their apc, fallour remover, xar car wash shampoo is around 10p per wash! And their detailing spray has different uses has different applications and results depending on what you do with it. I.e mix 70:30 with water and you'll get deep lustre shine, mix it 30:70 you'll get a clay bar lube, 40:60 and a drying aid and so forth. Its so cheap and so powerful designed by chemical engineers who have been around since the 1960s. They are all a committed brand to be as ethical a d environment focused as possible. I really should like to gain employment from them as I strongly believe in the brand. Recommend mixing their products with deionised water 👍
Would like to see you review all the bilt hamber protection products such as double speed wax, finis wax, hydra wax, auto balm and touch on. Shame you didn't cover the polishes they offer but brilliant review all the same.
Yes…a little complicated re dilution ratios but fantastic cleaning products once you get it “down” Check out QD 10:1 ratio SUPERB drying aid & my latest find in the range “Cleansing Polish” , apply circularly with damp foam applicator pad, haze then buff off. Excellent finisher & very good to use on old cars/paint
I have most of their auto products ( clays, anti corrosion, waxes, ect ) Used them over last few years. Absolutely fantastic products. Couldn't recommend enough
Hi Pan, thanks for your educative videos as always! I am using BH korrosal and Touch less here in Kampala, very good tip on not using the Touch less for every wash as I also noticed seems to break down wax/sealant protection and dilution instructions.
Great to see a British brand on the channel, they have quite a small range but they are all very good . I believe the company started producing products for the Aerospace industry. I use surfex hd,auto foam and autowheels regularly also I really like double speed wax amazingly long lasting wax.
I have used Autofoam to remove insects - just sprayed water/autofoam mixture from the bottle. Very efficient. 50%/50% mixture, but realised that can be diluted much more without losing efficient. Worth trying.
I’ve been using Bilt Hamber since last year when I learned about them. I LOVE their Korrosol, Auto Wash, Touch-Less, Cleanser-Fluid, and their clay bars. The auto-wash is ridiculous in how little you need to achieve amazing results, and it’s super slick, a lot slicker than your usual Honeydew type soaps. I like that the company doesn’t do gimmicks, just focuses on desired results. I like products from other brands, and use them as well, but Bilt Hamber is my go to for serious work when it comes to general cleaning, washing, or decon. I do want to try the Koch Chemie GSF, and their Active Foam washes, as well as the MotorPlast and GreenStar…I hear good things about them as well.
I'm useing the bilt hamber products maybe almost 2 years now they are very good and is so exspensive like other brands plus great cleaning power . I found this brand via Jon's Channel know as the Forensic Detailing channel he does all kind of reviews and test with these products against others products it is very education channel !!highly recommended channel to take a look !!
4 products ive used from BH for years... Surfex HD, AutoFoam, Korrosol and AutoWash. Ive done Koch, CarPro, and loads of others, but nothing touches these. They are powerful, durable and so so cost effective. Many pro's over here in the UK use these products.
Could you please review the 3 claybars from Bilt Hamber, I know John has great reviews of them and It would be awesome to see what you say about them and your recommendations on when to used the different level of abrasiveness. One of the first and few brands that said to use water as the clay lube in its directions. Also they have like with most their products a great price and awesome packaging for their clay.
I'm using surfex HD for tyres long time allready and it is the best price for the best power. It is waterbased degreeser I belive. Now I need to check that snow foam and fall-out 😁
I am really interested in the auto foam one but the instructions totally mess me up and as mentioned somewhere in the comment section that because the product is highly concentrated, it leaves very little room for error during dilution. I will hold off and stick to my Koch Chemie GSF for now. Thanks Pan for the video and efforts from Toronto, Canada
Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax is a fantastic wax, nice shine and very durable. Also the Auto QD. Also needs to be diluted down, but can be diluted down to 10:1 and used as a really good drying aid
Thanks for the positive feedback Brian. I appreciate it! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 880,000 subscribers and we have over 112 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Your totally right about directions. You pros beat it into us to READ THE DIRECTIONS!! And yes we should. I'm not one to just wing it, and dump some detergent in a bucket. Measure it so we can have similar results on our cars every wash. It sounds like Insane cleaner, just don't make me Insane trying to dilute. I'll wait a bit to purchase until the scientists help us regular folks understand what their talking about. Super duper video Pan! Thank you a ton for reviewing BM!
Great value products, but what keeps me from buying it,is the amount jumping around with measuring of these products, instructions are far from the greatest you'll ever have either,I prefer things already mixed and ready to go,be it spray or couple of caps in a bucket and go,at 60 I would get fed up with measuring this and that, but I will say this is a fantastic video Pan,your explanation on the use of the product is more comprehensive than what I've seen here in the UK,great job....
I normally apply Surfex HD 1-5 before polishing, followed by Korrosol and just a swift mist of more surfex 1-5 on top of Korrosol. I find it simpler to keep this prediluted in a large 12 liter spraycan than diluting it in a foamer everytime.
I found it interesting on forensic detail channel that Surfex HD never loses a degrease cleaning comparison. Very impressive when others are very good quality in the comparison like Green Star. Would adding either of these to a Neutral snow foam up the PH in a similar fashion as using auto foam or touchless?
I found Pan’s website by accident, and now it’s my go-to site! Yes, the BH snow foam instructions are a bit detailed, but as others have said, you only need to do it once. I did the set up initially using a Karcher K4 with the original hose and it took 11 litres of water to empty the foam cannon. Later, I changed to a much more user-friendly after-market hose on the Karcher, and the cannon emptied after just 9 litres. So the dilution ratio can be affected by the equipment used.
Thanks for the trust you place in my videos Paul. You said you discovered my channel by accident. How exactly did that happen? What were you searching for?
Hi Pan great content as ever good to see you have the BH range there now all great products , excellent value , after all my going through products I landed on surfex hd as a pre rinse , Auto foam as a pre was and korosol as a fallout, (brake buster for wheel cleaner) auto wheel isn’t a fallout as they states on they’re description it just has the same reactor in it to show its working , these keep the initial prewash economical for me 👍🏻 This is the feed back I got when requiring about dilution for Surfex hd so I stick to this and works well : “You only need it to be in at 5% so 50ml in 1 litre or 250ml in 5 litres. You could push to 10% if the car was filthy.”
I always use korrosol during a detail unless the wheels are off, then auto wheel is used, I find korrosol is kinder and not as harsh as auto wheel for a maintenance every 4 - 6 weeks
Another great video, Pan! I watched a UK RUclipsr who followed the Bilt Hamber PIR method and ended up using 392ml of auto foam and 608ml of cold water. He was using a MJJC foam canon.
Yes this was just an introductory video the BH lineup. I did the proper calculations with my pressure washer and foam cannon setup to get 5% PIR, and I have to use 345ml of snow foam and 255ml of water in my MJJC Foam Cannon Pro, as I use a Kranzle 1122TST pressure washer which pumps out a stout 2.1GPM of water.
Cool review, thx Pan. About the Auto-foam, you need to use around 300-350 ml of shampoo to 650-700 ml of water, if you calculate the PIR correctly (of course it depends on the setup too, but in general, it is always over 200 ml per use), which gives more like 15 washes of the 5 litre can. Would be more foamy, but wouldn't give the shaving foam effect yet. Korrosol is my favourite iron fallout remover ;) Also they used to come with much better sprayers.
@@landryb06 It is not 1:1. To calculate the PIR, you need to take into consideration all the water that your pressure washer puts through, whilst clearing the 1 litre reservoir of the foam cannon. Usually it is anywhere between 7-14 litres, depending on the pressure washer, the foam cannon and the throughput set on the foam cannon. And you take the 2-4% of that value, to get how much shampoo you need. But yes, massive amount.
@@landryb06 Here's my take on the topic: ruclips.net/video/S2OuiYzgcBk/видео.html and here's Jon's from Forensic Detailing: ruclips.net/video/GTQfYGGJjnY/видео.html
@@OCDaddyZsolt yes spot on! 4% is the max though. So would only Use that on a really dirty car so not a waste of product. At 4% it would have got a lot more of the dirt off in the video!
@@Martinjelley Yep. I really like BH products, don't get me wrong, but there are others, which give you the exact same result, just by using 15-25 ml of product (with 975-985 ml of water).
I love BH products as they are used in other industries and so they don’t think shaving foam style is best ..they are very concentrated so are very good value … less marketing due to their reputation is enough….great review matey..

It takes a few mins to work out the PIR, but with your particular snow foam lance, (same as mine with Karcher K4) 150ml product full the rest with water works perfect for removing dirt
Pan, great to see you trying out BH. I have switched to using their products now a lot in several categories. Of course I too was influnced by John's enthusiastic praise for these products (backed up by the rigorous testing). Surfex HD 1:20 for pre treatment on the front and sides of the car, including the wheels. I have yet to try to see how efficient it is against bugs, as it is now winter. I spray it, let it dwell, meanwhile I prepare the foam and then cover the whole car with it. Auto-foam, I use 1:9, it seems it works. I was too lazy measuring the precise mixing ratio of my cannon. Auto-wash, 1:1000 seems to be the right ratio for me, as 1:2000 looked rather thin to me. It still gives me around 30 washes from a 500 mL bottle. I have yet to try BH quick detailer. What makes BH different and I think was not mentioned in the video is the fact that they not only do detailing products. They make products for all around care for your vehicle - undercarriage waxes, protective coatings, paints, rust converters and so on. In my eyes that makes BH sort of "real car enthusiast's" choice. You have to be quite determined to regularly look at your car from underneath haha. Thank you for the vid, cheers
I agree with Pan. Bilt Hamber should have easier instructions. Just suggestions kind of like what Adam’s polishes does on their products. 2oz-3oz.etc.. if PIR was super important then most of the brands would have similar instructions like Bilt Hamber. No the other way around.
27:16 I 100% agree, Im more of a runny soap kinda person, but anticipate high cleaning capabilites. I think foam only benefits when you want to see where you have been instead of the therapeutic nature of it. Makes it easier to rinse too! Thanks for elaborating on this Pan! Not many folk agree nor see the logic on the benefits of a low foam solution. ;)
I think your problem with percent is because of your ounces and gallons. With the metric system if you need a 10% dilution in a 1 liter bottle it's 1 deciliter (dl) and 9 dl water. I bought BH autofoam 9 years ago and used 2dl bh + 8 dl water (20%) in my foam lance and it produced very thick foam. Interesting videos so new subscriber here. Greetings from Finland.
This has been solved a long time ago. I followed the actual PIR instructions and did the calculations for my specific pressure washer and foam cannon setup and it works fine. 👍🏻
BH do excellent chemisty, good to see them expanding their customer base and I am sure they will be pleased you featured them. I use a lot of their anti corrison products; Atom Mac is good for spraying on the brake disks after a wash. I also spray on screws in the wheel arch liners, bolts in the engine bay as well as the exhaust during the winter months. For any surface rust that appears on the suspension components I have used Hydrate 80 before coating with Epoxy Mastic, which once dried can be washed. I usually have to top spots up every 16 months or so which usually come from the welds on the rear axle. Once a year I remove the wheels, clean up and coat the painted areas of the wheel arches with Dynax UC. I also use this stuff on the jacking points where the factory anti corrison foam has worn off over the years. BH do more products which might be of interest depending on the make and model of your vehicle. Fortunetley for me Audi has decent rust protection out of the box. If I owned a vehicle with just painted areas exposed underneath I would coat it with Dynax UB and spray Dynax S50 into any cavities. Ideally you would want to do this when the vehicle was new. If you just wanted to keep it simple I would highly reccomend Atom Mac if you live in an area with harsh winters. It is very user friendly and you could get away with just diluting this stuff at 3% in one of those lance pump sprayers that gardeners use for spraying on weeds. Spraying this underneath your car once a week should keep it tidy.
Great video as always. I've been using Bilt Hamber products for almost 5 years now, here in the UK. Nothing comes close to these products with regards to value for money for the quality of product. I use most of the products mentioned in the video but I also have used their Clay bars and hard wax. Both products are amazing. The wax is a little 'old school' now in the grand scheme of things and it is difficult to use, but it looks amazing after you've finished. The clay bar does exactly what it says on the tin, and is available in different hardness. Hope this helps.
AutoFoam 5% PIR for Winter use. 2-3% for Summer use. Touch-Less I use in summertime only 3%. For the surfexHD I use 1:20 as an APC. 1:10 or even 1:5 for wheels.
Hello Pan, I know this video was only about actual cleaning, but I use the BH QD diluted about 1:10. Once the car is dry use really sparingly and it just gives the paint that little extra top up of sparkle. Also rate the double speed wax.
One of my two go to manufacturers the other been Carpro. My favourites are auto wheel (amazing). Surfex hd for cleaning tyres @1:5 sometime a litte stronger on v dirty tyres, then dilute for other uses. Auto foam brilliant! Usually between 120ml and 180ml per ltr, leave for a short while then rinse then contact wash.
Currently using bilt hamber myself and my favourite product is the surfex hd because it’s so versatile. Will be checking out the garage therapy stuff next though as it’s been getting a lot of hype over here 🇬🇧
Great review, pan. I’ve been detailing my vehicles for well over 10 years now and love to try all the different brands and products. The BH auto foam is only one of two products I stick with. The other being Koch Chemie Fb for wheels/fallout. When I first tried it I was very disappointed with how it looked with low foam and quick run off. But the cleaning is excellent and value for money is great. What you get is high performing cleaning, not Hollywood foaming.
You are using the snow foams at completely wrong ratios. 4% PIR is quite easy to work out. For me it's 50/50 in a lance. Looks like with the pressure washer setup you are using the products at less than 1.5% PIR which hinders cleaning ability. Also you are meant to use Atom Mac on brake discs before you even start cleaning wheels, and then after if you so wish.
i'm glad you reviewed this brand..been curious about it for a while because unlike the usual suspect, these were readily available here in Ireland. i loved the Carpro Dilute bottles too because of the ease of diluting but the trigger sprayer leak at some point, either way i still love them and no big deal for i always use nitrile gloves anyway.
hi pan, great to see BH , as they have anti rust in them it's great for the cars that I detail, touch less for underneath is good as the sugar attacks the road salt, their clay bar is awesome aswell
Strongly agree that the BH pre-wash products are less foamy/satisfying or ‘retail friendly’ compared to the big brands but when I try anything else I am left disappointed. One of the very few products that can actually remove road film.
I enjoy BH auto foam and touch less are both in my arsenal but they are pricey in Sweden also considering the usage for me 4% is 480ml that gives me 8 times on average as I have an SUV so it is for approx 38 EUR as the cost including shipping for the 4 liter is expensive. I usually use an alkaline degreaser in my foam canon as pre wash instead.
Autofoam and touchless seems to be ideal in a Griots Boss foam canon since it auto dilutes 1:20? since soap is poured in 100 percent strength. So only diluted one time.
I getting ready to use the Bilt Hamber auto foam,,,, i agree the directions are written by a chemist thanks for the help i got a new little greenworks pressure wasther for cars,,, first for us for everything... thanks ,,
Bilt Hamber is just the best quality product of all types available. And they are not even the most expensive either. You are lucky to have the brand now, because it has been a main brand for serious detailers here in the UK for a long time.
Pan, you should do Koch-Chemie next. Its also great stuff. And since you live in Canada with snow and salt, you will love The combo, Koch-Chemie Teerwäsche A and Koch-Chemie Vorreiniger B as your pre-wash. Their Mwc, Awc and Fb are great for wheels. And Fb can be used as an fallout remover.

Can you do a video on EPA SOAPs OR SOAPS that's biogradeable
Both good points :)
I've used BH for a while now. No hype, no fancy packaging, just products that work at a sensible price. I also really like their Double Speed Wax....
Yeah DS wax is brilliant.
Second for Double Speed Wax 🙌🏻
guys, how would you rate DSW for chemical resistance? I have had fusso on my car, but once they started salting the roads, the front and sides of the car were stripped of the protection. I want to try something else before the winter is over.
How many oz you put in lance?

100% correct, Pan doesn’t understand the concept of PIR but I’m sure he’ll understand soon enough 👍🏻
Absolutely correct! It's not a pH nuteral shampoo that you can just put som in a foam canon and spray on. It is important to have correct dilution to get correct cleaning ability.
100% my thoughts exactly. Pan is wrong.
Stick with them and you’ll do great
Bilt Hamber products are fantastic! A brand that is one of the best bang for your buck. Whatever I used from them I was very impressed.
I’ve used Bilt Hamber for years now, and I think 90%+ of UK detailers use their foam. You honestly can’t beat them.
No fancy labels, no marketing, non caustic, great dilution and amazing cleaning strength 👌🏼
There newer bottles are a lot more user friendly as well as the shampoo use to have a huge opening so you could very easily over pour the product.
Great review Pan 👍🏼
Thanks I appreciate the feedback!
Everyone in the UK smiling watching this video… 😁
Autofoam I normally use 100ml product to about 600ml water - a little more in winter or if dirtier.
Shampoo - I think you’ve over complicated it, I personally stick between 15-20ml in the bucket and go from there - ignore their tea spoon comments: I’m not sure why they’ve even mentioned it…
BH are huge in the UK (just for anyone outside of the UK wondering what all the fuss is about).
To give context they are used by professionals / hobbyists alike as they are well known for their cleaning ability and vehicle protection. They also make waxes which again are no none sense but highly regarded
Enjoy!
It’s about time you got your hands on BH products 😍 Auto wheel is by far one of the best on the market imo
I think the dilution ratio for auto wash is a 50/50 dilution (I may be wrong) but I think the ratio used in the demo was too weak, but I could be wrong

@@jamesarmitage8399 i agree, im a massibe fan of Valetpro !!
Cheers Mark!
That's really a lot of product though. I've been using it for a while, but it never wowed me yet. (I usually do a 1:10/100ml to 1000ml dilution)
Do you mind explaining how to calculate the PIR??
Good luck.
@@markcraddock8983 makes perfect sense and it’s VERY easy to figure out. I’m just a Joe homeowner and no pro and followed exactly what you said.
Sorry to my North American friends, done in litres as I don’t use ounces
Fill your Lance bottle with water, blast that into a bucket until it’s empty, see how many litres that is (helps if you have a bucket with markers in the inside), then times that by the strength you want, 1%, 2%, 4% or whatever which tells you how much AF to put in the lance bottle, then top up with water. Only have to do that once unless you change your pressure washer.
For example,
I fill my Lance bottle with water
I spray into a bucket until the Lance bottle is empty
The bucket has 12 litres of water in it
I want 2% mix
12 x 0.02 = 240
I add 240ml of AF to the lance bottle and top up with water
If in future I want a 4% solution, I double it to 480ml, if I want 1%, I halve it to 120ml.
- Auto Wash at 5ml per 10L bucket for my contact wash
- Surfex HD at 10 parts water to 1 part Surfex in the 'IK Foamer 2' for my tyres and wheels
- Auto wheel for alloy wheel decontamination
- Auto QD at 10 parts water to 1 part QD as a drying agent for a streak free finish
One BH product I'd like to see reviewed is their new 'Touch On' 30ml Crystalline hydrophobic treatment' for topping up your protection during the wash. Specifically how best to apply it quickly and effectively and its durability / hydrophobicity
Thanks for sharing Earl!
I like your guidelines for the comments. I would challenge people to consider: Even though we all enjoy easy and simple, it’s often worthwhile to take the time and effort to calculate and be intentional-in many areas of our lives. In the long run, it’s usually more efficient and economical.
I used to use so many different wheel cleaning products, then I found BH auto wheel. That's all I use now, amazing stuff.
Niice
I can say the same with jaxwax, exoforma, etc....
Together with P&S it is one of the brands that are not expensive, do their job excellently, no fancy marketing but just to the point.
Thanks Alex and happy new year!
I use and love the Bilt Hamber Atom Mac. It is a dilutable product to spray on e.g. disc brakes to stop them from building a brown color after getting wet in the wheel wash proces.
100%, i've looked and tried many others but Atom Mac is just the king with this product. Quite expensive but it absolutely does what it promises.
Thanks for sharing!
Will it strip sealant at 20%?
To say that Mercedes had zero protection on it, that Auto foam did a great job at removing the amount it did!
I’ve always been a fan of Bilt Hamber, if ever I’m cleaning a really dirty car I’ll apply Surfex HD to the car (dry) then rinse it off and apply Auto Foam, I’ve always found that works quite well.
Great video Pan 👍🏼
I like using Extra Tough as a prewash. It removes about 98%. Works AMAZINGLY well!!
Hello from the UK. You guys from North America are going to love BH products !
Do you work for the company?
@@chezchezchezchez nope, just love using their products. They are super cheap in the UK. Where as products from the US are pretty expensive(due to tax) Hope people give them a go.
Hopefully you'll get your hands on Garage Therapy soon enough. Another great English brand.
Hi pam I use sufexhd at 20 to 1 and also at 10 to 1 in pump spray. I am from the uk and bilt hammer is real good and cheap.
Happy new year June!
I use it with 4% PIR and with my foam lance and pressure washer its 600ml of product with 400ml water in the foam lance bottle.
@@felipe_silve yeah, you have to explain simple math to some people 😃
Bilt Hamber no.1 for cleaning imo. Absolutely solid well priced products 👍
(Warm water will boost the effect of all Bilt Hamber products)
Of course I also use a Pertrocemical asphalt remower on the lower panels and the rear end on all vehicles I am washing, because her in Norway the roads i completely drowned in salt in the winter.
I discovered BH a few years ago when searching for a good cavity wax. Since then I have bought several 5ltr cans of their lineup. Amazing products that do what they need to do, no fancy ads, no screaming colors or promises, they just work.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Care to share the instructions?
@@ssam3447 sure thing. Instructions below
1. Screw the lance dial clockwise fully until it
stops, then unscrew it 2 full turns.
2. Using a measuring jug fill the lance with
exactly 600ml of water.
3. Discharge the lance into a bucket until the
bucket contains exactly 10ltrs.
4. Measure the remaining amount of water left
in the lance. You want it to have drawn out
400ml so you're wanting it to have 200ml left
over.
5. If you've got less than 200ml left, the draw
rate is too high so unscrew it anticlockwise by
1/2 a turn and repeat steps 2-4. If you've got
more than 200ml left, the draw rate is too low
so screw it in clockwise by 1/2 a turn and
repeat steps 2-4.
6. Once you have exactly 200ml left, this
means your lance is discharging 400ml of
product per 10ltr = 4% PIR. You can now just
fill it with neat AF with no pre-dilution
required.
And just a pointer, the 5% ratio is panel impact ratio (PIR) and not the dilution in the foam canon. So it’s better to go 1:10 in the canon since it will be further diluted 🙂
You will get a cleaner car and some what ticker foam.
Thanks for watching Stian! Happy new year.
Yes…a little complicated re dilution ratios but fantastic cleaning products once you get it “down”
Check out QD 10:1 ratio SUPERB drying aid
& my latest find in the range “Cleansing Polish” , apply circularly with damp foam applicator pad, haze then buff off. Excellent finisher & very good to use on old cars/paint
I have most of their auto products ( clays, anti corrosion, waxes, ect ) Used them over last few years. Absolutely fantastic products. Couldn't recommend enough
Thanks for sharing Kamil. How did you discover my channel by the way?
The cleaning capability + the low price + high dilution ratio. Absolutely love it. 10/10
Thanks for watching Gary!
Which is better surfex or auto wash because I cant figure what the difference is
I'm useing the bilt hamber products maybe almost 2 years now they are very good and is so exspensive like other brands plus great cleaning power . I found this brand via Jon's Channel
know as the Forensic Detailing channel he does all kind of reviews and test with these products against others products it is very education channel !!highly recommended channel to take a look !!
4 products ive used from BH for years... Surfex HD, AutoFoam, Korrosol and AutoWash. Ive done Koch, CarPro, and loads of others, but nothing touches these. They are powerful, durable and so so cost effective. Many pro's over here in the UK use these products.
oh and i disagree about prewashing. Ive found using certain products dont need it, and BH is one of them. unless its thick mud or something.
PIR Pan... look it up... you dont really mix BH the way you do with Koch or Carpro.
totally agree about PIR.... its annoying lol!
Thanks Pan for the video and efforts
from Toronto, Canada
Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax is a fantastic wax, nice shine and very durable.
Also the Auto QD. Also needs to be diluted down, but can be diluted down to 10:1 and used as a really good drying aid
My favorite products (not only BH products) are Auto Foam, Auto Wash, Korrosol and Cleanser Fluid. You should definitely try the Cleanser Fluid also.
brilliant video you explain everything in plain english so you make it easier to understand for us weekend vehicle washers thank you very much

Korrosol is a great one, smells isn't as bad as many other de-ironizers. Auto foam is a good cleaner but lacks in foam experience
Your totally right about directions. You pros beat it into us to READ THE DIRECTIONS!! And yes we should. I'm not one to just wing it, and dump some detergent in a bucket. Thanks Kim and happy new year!
Thanks Franklin!
Hi Pan great content as ever good to see you have the BH range there now all great products , excellent value , after all my going through products I landed on surfex hd as a pre rinse , Auto foam as a pre was and korosol as a fallout, (brake buster for wheel cleaner) auto wheel isn’t a fallout as they states on they’re description it just has the same reactor in it to show its working , these keep the initial prewash economical for me 👍🏻
This is the feed back I got when requiring about dilution for Surfex hd so I stick to this and works well :
“You only need it to be in at 5% so 50ml in 1 litre or 250ml in 5 litres.
@@PanTheOrganizer Are snow foams typically rinsed before the contact wash?
British and the best. Simple as that. 🇬🇧
Stop the nonsense. Go look at someone the products coming from other countries
I use auto-wash shampoo, surfex HD, korrosol, auto-foam, cleanser-fluid and I've tried two different clays. All great products.
I use 40ml of touchless plus 40ml of garage therapy snow foam to 500ml of water the dwell time and cleaning power of them both is amazing
What? A 1:2 ratio is ridiculous and a waste of product.
So would only
Use that on a really dirty car so not a waste of product.

For maintenance wash, Touchless at 2%. Very dirty I use 4% PIR. BH is the best value on the market.
Pan,
great to see you trying out BH.
Cheers!

I,m using Surfex HD apc, i find it to be a great all purpose soap. It is quite tough when mixed 1:10 or less. Good stuff for heavy grime...
It's a very good APC for sure.
Thanks very much Pan, for spending your own money to bring us such amazing video👍
Thanks for watching!
Korrosol, Auto Wheel and Surfex HD are the absolute bomb!
Only thing that irritates me about Surfex HD is the lack of foam and the residue.

Use them in a spray or pump spray or pump foamer.
2 or 4 % of 1 litre is fairly easy to work out.
Autofoam and touchless seems to be ideal in a Griots Boss foam canon since it auto dilutes 1:20? since soap is poured in 100 percent strength. So only diluted one time.
I getting ready to use the Bilt Hamber auto foam,,,, i agree the directions are written by a chemist thanks for the help i got a new little greenworks pressure wasther for cars,,, first for us for everything... thanks ,,
Thanks Mike! Happy new year
Bilt Hamber is just the best quality product of all types available.
