    I would really like to use your software....for one design...but it's too expensive. Isn't there an option for one off's..

      Hi, we understand. That is why we also have the File Conversion Service. PDF to InDesign. Basically, it costs $39 per PDF. See: markzware.com/support/file-conversion-service/

      @@Markzware Ha - pricing is by file size. It would cost me as much as the annual fee for the conversion service.

    • @Markzware
      @Markzware  3 года назад

      @@0Thesaly0 That is generally not the case. But if you PDF is that big, then yeah, doing it on your own desktop with the annual subscription is well worth it.

    very expensive! why should i want this for a whole year? I read in the comments there was a version for one use but the website is not user friendly, its impossible to find, all i see is a one year subscription and super expensive...

    I have a manuscript in PDF form that I want to upload to Amazon to publish my book. However, one of the page numbers needs to be modified. Can this be done in InDesign?

    • @Markzware
      @Markzware  2 года назад

      Hi Griffin, Yes, PDFMarkz could convert your PDF into InDesign and you could edit page numbers, live text, images, etc. However, in your case, a simple PDF editor such as Acrobat may be more in order. We don't recommend that often, for you have to be careful with the fonts and styles, for that could cause issues for printing. So as long as you have the fonts used loaded, you can likely edit your PDF in Acrobat. Just make sure to make a back-up before starting in on it.

    Hi. I created a vector logo in illustrator. I saved it as a pdf file and placed it into indesign. Can I edit the pdf file WITHIN Indesign (move points, change colors, etc), rather than going back into illustrator for editing? Thanks

    • @Markzware
      @Markzware  4 года назад

      Hi, you cannot edit a placed PDF. If you use our PDF2DTP and convert the PDF into InDesign, then you can, yes.

      @@Markzware Thanks for your reply. I solved my problem by simply copying the vector graphic from illustrator, and then pasting it directly into indesign. This allows me to edit the color of the graphic within indesign. Thank you.

      @@Markzware I have about 20 vector icons which I created in illustrator. I needed to paste each of them into indesign, and I need to make the icons various and assorted colors within indesign. I need to be able to easily edit the color of the icons, and make them different colors, all within Indesign so that I can look at the design and make sure the color is appropriate to go with the design. Thank you.

      Yes Jahnn, it will keep the same exact fonts used. If you have them loaded on your machine, it's perfect - otherwise you have to substitute for something close. But the conversion keeps the same fonts and styles.
