What if we want to edit the pdf in InDesign
There is no option to edit PDF in indesign that you have imported. It will be non-editable. Files created from scratch in Indesign are editable only.
is there anyway to open a pdf file made in indesign. I lost the original indesign file. like in photoshop jpg made in psd will be still there with layers when opened from jpg version too.

When I placed a single sheet pdf in InDesign ,it came in very pixelated. Do you know why that would happen ?
Select Page .. Right Click --> High Quality Display
@@DesignwithSaadAhmed I did maximum quality and it is still pixelated
It remains pixelated when you import it only or when you again export it as PDF from Indesign ?
Check the quality of your original PDF too
@@DesignwithSaadAhmed it becomes pixelated as soon as I import it in InDesign via place command.

@@leenthelnah Can"t update the PDF in Indesign. You can modify the PDF by adding more items on it. Text changes etc is not ppssible

Sorry man, but videos title is misleading. This is a huge let down because like the other people in the comments i am in a difficult situation that i cannot retrive the original indesign file so i thought there would be a way to actually edit a pdf file in indesign and see your video. I thought i have found the way at last and edit the pdf file. Altough your video provided a very good way to import a multi page pdf into indesign very easily it does not deliver its promise of EDITING the file which is promised in the title. I'm sadly reporting the video as "misleading information".

I have one more case for export pdf files to Indesign
This script can export pdf (after opened in Illustrator) to editable Indesign file (only as non formatted text)
