Thank you for your video, is it possible in excel to make a cross tabulation but to make a kind of bubble plot from the data in the table instead of bar charts.?
Thank you, sir. I have one more question regarding this. What if I have two quantitative variables? Can I approach it exactly the same way like you did in this video?
This is so helpful. Can you tell me what you do if the two variables you want to look at aren't next to each other? Do you need to rearrange the data each time you do a crosstab?
You can select different sets of variables using the "Pivot Table Fields" menus on the right hand side of the screen. So, you can select ALL the variables you might want to look at all at the beginning, then select/deselect them afterwards using the checkboxes under "Fields to add to report".
@@BurkeyAcademy Thank you so much! I am trying to teach crosstabs to my students remotely, because we lost our SPSS in the transition. Doing the chi square test is going to be much more complicated this way!
Hey- I appreciate all feedback, especially negative. Not everyone has your background and understanding, so the amount of time it would take to explain it to you is not universal. I pick up many things quickly, so don't need a long video, either. But many others have little to no experience in computers, Excel, data, or stats, and need a slower, more deliberate explanation. Some of my videos are targeted towards people working on Ph.D.s, but this video is for beginners. The beauty of RUclips is that you can watch the video at double speed, skip portions you don't need, or skip the video altogether if it isn't right for you! Perhaps you'll like this video where I teach calculus in 10 minutes? ☺ ruclips.net/video/YF0yGb1MElw/видео.html
"I don't know what's 'grand' about it, its just a total!" 😆 Great video, this helped so much with my homework.
Thank you so much for the video. It's so easy to understand for me with no statistical background.
Thank you so much for helping me with my quantitative report, this was extremely easy to understand!!
Good video, needed abit of a refresher on excel this was just what I needed. 12 minutes well spent

I am forever grateful to you thank you!

Can I approach it exactly the same way like you did in this video?
Yes, it works in a very similar way- the only difference is that you have to tell Excel how to "group" both of the quantitative variables.

@@BurkeyAcademy Do you know an uncomplicated way to add a chi square statistic to these tables, in Excel?
Just curious, Why would you take 12 minutes to explain something you can do in 3 minutes?

Have you ever tried teaching addition or subtraction? It takes a lot longer to explain than to just do it yourself.
this comment is plain obnoxious. i say - thanks to the author for taking 12 minutes to explain this :)
What a silly comment
