IMPORTANT When referencing normal cells from another file, everything works normally when the original file is either opened or closed. However, if you reference a table from the original file, it only works when the file is opened. If the original file is closed, you get #ref error. Maybe there could be a way to fix this but I regularly work linking many files and this happens.

The reason is the item upload can’t handle too many lines or it fails on upload. I need to change column B pricing to reflect MSRP price from the master. I also have limitations on First column not identically matching master sheet item names because I’m only allowed 9 characters. How can I automate moving MSRP price over to new price sheets for upload to ERP system and make sure the correct price goes with correct item.
How to ignore empty cell while checking grater than value , and how to write code for check c2 coloum is some condition and d2 is Some function if both true we should get our condition

Hi there ! Nice way to do it, but (sorry^^) dont learn to people to create link between 2excel sheets. Why? because when you move one file, or rename, it creates #errors or #na or whatever. So people will have one day an error and they would never now how to fix it (A lot of people in my enterprise call me for this sort of issue, because they created 15 links to other excel sheets..... arf ;) ). Have a data sheet is better or at least the last way or a vba code to import data but more complicated. But in the same file, the way to have only a column on a table is a nice thing. Thanks

Break the links, from the "Data" tab you should be able to see the "Edit Links" option, click on that and then on "Break Link"

must all the linked files be in the same folder? and if i need to move the folder to another location (e.g. D:\ to E:\), will it still work?
With the formulas it should be fine. With power query you would need to change the path in the source step.

What if the other files are in SharePoint?
If the file name changed or folder changed, some data may disappeared, that might be the risk for linking data.
