    can I do chi square of this multiple response survey data ??

    • @MSurveyPoint
      @MSurveyPoint  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes. However, here the standard Chi-Square test is not appropriate since there is within group dependency as respondents had the option to select more than one item in each of the multiple response questions.
      Marginal Chi-Square test is recommended in this case.

    your videos are great! but I have one issue, if I go to "close & load to" it only shows me in the window of Import Data "Table" and "Only Create Connection". How can I get the option for "Pivot Table Report"?

    • @MSurveyPoint
      @MSurveyPoint  Месяц назад +1

      @@jessiki5711
      This could happen depending on the Excel version.
      You can still create Pivot Tables from there anyway. However, with few additional steps
      From there....
      Select create connect and check; add to data model.
      .. wait for it to load
      Now proceed as follows
      Insert>Pivot Tables>External connect>Select Unpivoted or data table you loaded>>add>Ok
      Then create your pivot table

    Hi! great video but im having trouble understanding why when I unpivot, only one of the columns of the answers is left. Could you please explain that to me? I want both answers to remain

    • @MSurveyPoint
      @MSurveyPoint  Год назад

      Great to know this helps.
      Please check if you have the responses of the columns you unpivoted in that single column.
      Also recheck if you selected all the columns you want to unpivot.
      Ideally, unpivoting regroups the responses in each of the columns into the values column and the column names into the attribute column.

      @@MSurveyPoint I did thanks! Another question if its not too much to ask, I closed the right window where the values, axis x y etc was, where I had all the info of the questions that I had unpivoted. I did some graphs and it was working but now it closed and I cant open it again. Coould you please help? Thank you again!!

      Happy to hear it worked out
      Click anywhere in one of the pivot tables you have generated.
      >right-click and scroll down to the bottom.
      >select "Show Field list" at the bottom
      You can always hide/show the Field list pane that way.

      Of course @@MSurveyPoint thank you!!!! Im sorry, a couple more questions. I have, like in your video, multiple questions (with multiple answers) I want to do other tables but when I copy the table it doesnt give me another pivot table, with the values on the right, it only copies the table. And as I am creating graphs from each table if I do it all on the same table it erases the last tables. Also, what would you do in questions where its order from most important to least important? I have in the "data base" table columns divided by answers, the first column is the most important, the one on the right the second most important etc. What would you do? If you tell me its ok, Ill write you on email. Thank yu again! ur videos are great,I will share them
