- Since making these Flour Sack Tea Towels I have found a much better quality tea towel that I get from amazon. They lay very nice without tons of ironing the wrinkled bottom. I have purchased them myself many times for my own home decor shop.

Tea towels are a what is called a loose weave and you and grab the corners and pull this way and that . that should true them up. But the even just change shape over time. Have fun with them

I know! It's so sad they are completely sold out! The ones that show up on the listing are from another company and they are super expensive I do not recommend them. Hey Ashley, for the "Watch Me Whip" towel I used Tuesday Script and for the "Home Sweet Home" towel I used Madina Script. The last towel was a combination of several and I can't seem to find them, sorry. Enjoy!

I like to do them 5.5 inches wide that way I can fit 2 side by side on a 12 inch mat.
Why is so many of tea towels are printed in black
I like using black because I feel like it goes with any home decor and the style in my home is pretty simple. However, you can use any color of vinyl you would like! Get creative!
What brand of towels do you recommend for monogram? I'm doing this for a wedding present but I'm not sure which ones to buy. I'm looking for a nice rich dark chocolate color. I hope you can guide me in the right direction. I'm looking to do this asap. today is 07-11-2018

I just found these amzn.to/2JgJOVT on amazon they are from the Cotton Craft company I previously recommended. They are a good chocolate color but they are a much different texture towel. They wouldn't be good for iron-on designs but for an embroidered monogram they would be fine. Sorry I cannot be of more help I really haven't been able to find any towels in that color.

What vinyl do you use?
Sarah Chin I use the Siser brand heat transfer vinyl. I get it from Amazon it's much cheaper then most places and great quality. Good luck!!

How do you make the decals?
xraysandhair I cut them out using my Cricut Explore Air. You can use any cut machine you have or ask a friend who has one to cut out the design for you. You can get the cut files by checking out my blog in the description. Just subscribe to my blog when you get there and the files will be emailed to you. Have fun!

what size is the decal?
Hey Cherease, I make all the decals for my towels 5.5 inches wide by whatever the height is for the individual design. :)

Cherease Andrews Yeah I'm not sure the exact size of the height since they are all different and I just decided how wide they need to be to fit on the towel and then I let the height be different for all of them based on the design.

I just purchased one of these towels and they are so uneven. Did you cut yours or is it just uneven as the finished product?
The towels do come pretty uneven, I ironed mine out in the video to help them lay nicer..... However, once you wash them they are wrinkly and uneven again. Since making this video I have found a much better quality towel that I get from amazon. They are a bit more expensive but they do come in a bigger pack. They are more even and lay much nicer then the cheaper option in the video. Here's the link. amzn.to/2hm839R
