Guys, if you are yet to download Trello.
Download it here, it's free and suc a great resource: bit.ly/2DcLKk2
Trello is good but my company uses Restyaboard. An alternative to Trello, that has the same Kanban features, as well as other views such as a to-do list and mind map. Just as easy to navigate, and worth checking out for anyone looking for a substitute.
I love Trello! But since Zenkit launched (and you reviewed it, because otherwise I might have missed it), I migrated to them. I just think it has a lot of things that Trello either lacks or has behind a paywall!
It's great, though, because everything that you've explained here can be applied there as well.
Thanks a lot for the video! Keep it up!
This video is amazing! So informative! I just started using Trello and the information you provided was extremely helpful! Thanks!
I am new here and I'd like to know what is the best way to keep track of year goals with Trello. Should I use one board for each goal or put all together in one board and moving to doing and done as I progress? Thanks for your time
Great video, as usual. I think I saw your video in which you describe application 'edges' and which application you use for what (i.e Trello for long planning, Todoist for task management) but I cannot find it.
Can you provide link please or make one :)
Very interesting video. I used Trello about a year ago but just never got into it. After watching this video I could see how I could use it for Goal Planning. So I might have to revisit Trello.
great video on Trello, Francesco! I learned quite a few new tricks and feel like using Trello for my mid- to longterm planning as you suggested! Also congrats on getting married soon, it is a life-altering experience😅
Thanks for the video Francisco. As a note, for those who want more actionable and specific goals, check out OKRs. It's used by companies as well as people to ensure your goals are actionable and are typically done quarter by quarter.
Really interesting video....very clear information.....thank you again ..... looking forward to the next vid all the best Chris
Great video thanks Francesco. Trello is good but it’s not the best tool out there. Cant delete a list, calendar view is terrible, & integration with google’s cal is very bad.
Can I use Trello for my commercial project for free or I need payed Business Class?
Trello ROCKS! Glad to hear they are a sponsor.
I'm honoured to have them!
Hope we will see more videos on Trello. I'm already using it heavily, but seems like I'm constantly learning NEW ways to use it.
Thank you for doing a review on TRELLO for this New Years! why do RECENT boards pop up on my private board? does that mean everyone can see my boards because I set mine to PRIVATE? please reply im freaking out ....new to trello
Hey there! The "Boards" button on the top left, which shows recent boards and activity, is just for your reference of your most-recently accessed boards as a member of those boards. No one else can see that listing. You'll only see private boards if you're a member of that private board. Welcome to Trello! If you ever have any more questions, please reach out to our support team (trello.com/contact).
Hi! Is there an annual calendar view possible in Trello, within the calendar feature? A power Up? I get that you can put mo lists on a board, but I’m a paper planner nerd looking to replace the mo. Layout for a year.
Not that I know of
Can you review the app my effectiveness? Thankd
cosmix bomb your own app? You created it?
Do you pretend to use trello or you will still use notion?
What is your main tool? Its not piratical to use a lot of tools.
I’m actively using both Notion and Trello.
My current tools are Todoist, Trello & Notion.
Both Notion and Trello are helping me in similar ways by managing longer-term goals.
I’m using Notion as more of a hub for my personal branding and goals, whereas Trello is for direct client management, goals and practical projects I’m working on.
I thought this might be something that there needed clarity on. A video should be coming soon!
Hello!
First of all, allow me to give a huge congratulations for your amazing movies. I watch each second of it!
Also thanks for your reply. A video would be a great help to give us some tips or how we can organize and have the best of each.
I do have some doubts, maybe you can cover on your next video, those are just some tips:
1: I Love the idea to have a central hub and don't have to swap between apps. Notion looks like that, but I can't setup due dates. For ex. I have a project and if I need to setup a todo list with delivery dates, I need to use todoist to keep track of the dates.
2: Todoist allows me to create / organize the task for a specific data. I can move them to be completed "today" and like that in the morning I can organize my agenda for that date. I can't do it with notion.
3: The same for reminders. Even if I set a reminder on notion, I can't setup the reminder date to receive a notification.
4: Trello allow me to have the due dates, but on the other end is not as powerful as a central hub like notion.
On my projects, I like to have the:
- Detail of work, with external URLs and images;
- Meeting minutes of all meetings.
- Todo list of the thinks to be done with deadline date.
- Reminders
- so on...
I can do it with all the 3 apps you mention, but look that I need to split the same project in different pieces and I need to be moving from app to app. That's not very practical.
If you think this can be useful, maybe you can touch some of this points on your next video.
Again, thanks for all your amazing work.
Best Regards,
Congratulations
Thanks Eric
