I come from a design education where we worked with desig thinking and scrum most of the time. And literally everyone I talk to about Trello hates it. Comments like 'it's too limiting', 'you really have to pay to get the functionality you want', 'it's too fixed, it's hard to use. Especially the app versions on android', 'I have bad experiences with it'. The list goes on. So it seems to me that Trello doesn't work for creative people? It's perhaps too rigid in its system, not flexible enough I guess... I just started using Notion because I was recommended it. Still working out that it best for me but so far I'm positive about the experience.
Trello also has a Gold member option, which, if paid yearly, comes out to $3.75 (USD) a month [it's $5/month if paid monthly]. The Gold gives you 3 power-ups per board and 250MB attachment instead of 100 (I think). It's a nice middle ground for single users that need more functionality but don't want to pay for the business version. In that way, it's comparable to Notion's paid option.
Charlotte Morabito What are power-ups for you Charlotte? How do you use them? Asking as totally brand new with Trello, after knowing about it for years.

Great video. I use both, but differently. I use Trello for one job for layouts and planning and use Notion for my other job as a team source. I'm trying their 2 week trial upgrade to see if I want to pay for it. So far, I'm really enjoying it now that I've figured it out. It is definitely NOT intuitive, but once you play around with Notion, it is really cool and takes off beyond anything else I've seen. I've started blogging in it with the blog board and I am begining to wonder if it might replace Bear for me...are you still enjoying Bear at all Francesco?
Trello is so much more user friendly. Notion is very difficult to learn. I have not seen any good training RUclips videos or other training offered. What I have seen available is too difficult to follow. All trainers/reviewers quickly click from one screen to another screen or from one feature to another feature without explaining or slowing down long enough to grasp the process being taught. Sorry Francesco! I'm not talking about you specifically but the videos offered so far from all sources are not timed well to allow novice users a real experience for learning. Disappointed with Notion!

Hmm. It is possible, but Notion isn’t that we’ll optimised as a to-do list. I’ll experiment and review end of June. Hope that’s okay Alex and Charlie ✅👍🏼
