Of all the players that Dodgers have let go over the recent years, Kiké is definitely the player I miss the most. He may not be the most dependable hitter, but he's ridiculously versatile on the defensive end, totally capable of being clutch on the offensive end, and he just oozes positive energy. So fun to watch.

Miss him in LA, always been one of my favorites. Always brought energy, made some crazy plays, had tons of clutch hits, and seems like a genuinely good and likeable person. His 3 HR game against CHC to send us to the WS was amazing, and his game-tying HR against ATL last year in game 7 was one of the best moments I've seen. Forever a Dodger, but of course wish him the best in Boston (same with Duggie) and beyond.
Also just for fun check out his numbers against Bumgarner (which includes when Bumgarner was elite) 26 for 52 (.500 BA) with 6 2B and 4 HR, crazy stuff as well. I'm pretty sure he has good or above average numbers against quite a few different former or current top pitchers. Me and my brother always somewhat jokingly called him the ace killer, but it's actually kind of true if I'm remembering correctly.

Answer as to why: Cole’s wind up is a HUGE tell of what is coming. You can tell from the wind up weather a fastball or a breaking ball is coming.
how have more people not picked up on this. i am relatively a new fan to baseball (less than 10 years) and i can easily see a difference in his wind up. imagine these professional players who had 1000s of at bats and seen about every pitcher possible and every motion. would explain why his whole season was so bad especialy since return from injury

Edit:I double checked and he's given up 16 runs in his last 22 2/3. And that's giving him his one good start against the Os. Over that span opponents are batting over . 300 against him

Eovaldi has a 5.30 ERA over his last 4 starts. Its fun to look at but all pretty meaningless. All that matters is tonight. You can be a complete scrub and toss a no hitter on any given night thats just baseball, far less likely in the post-season but still. Also, Cole will be on a short leash with the Yankees elite bullpen rested.
