I always try to remember one of the moves when I grapple but there's just too many to recall and I always end up getting choked out before I could pull off one. lol
Aye, remember to keep your elbows as close as possible or keep a grip on his gi. It will reduce the chance of getting choked out when trying moves like this. Timing is the key factor.
Jd Sanz eventually you wont have to "remember" your body will just flow there. You have to drill and drill these over and over until instinct takes control.
MY GOSH!!!! I JUST PISSED MYSELF! I have been doing bjj for a little more than a year now and have really started getting into arm bars. I had no idea there were so many! I saw at least 5 that I will definitely learn and try to apply. Thank you so much for this video.
I think its safe to say i never have to think about "new position" to use arm bar anymore. these 39 armbar will be enough for my entire career. thanks dude.
I am always impressed by Jason's videos. I love the way you can use this type of video to list out the different options you may have. In this case it allows me to have a checklist of all the armbars/armlocks that are available. its really cool!
Jason. . .you are a beast. I've been watching you for so long, i feel like I am one of your students!!!! Awesome stuff and I am learning lots. thanks. . .OSU!!!
I'm definitely going to have to incorporate this into my training. Right now my husband and I are working strictly on guard passes for the next month or so. Maybe December will be all about armbars.
I love your video style. How you do SEVERAL things in a short period. I have to watch 20 videos to get the moves that you do in one. I wouldn't call it helpful for "learning" the techniques but for building on them... wow your videos... what a resource. Thank you.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!! BJJ has been very difficult for me to learn. I seem to absorb better/faster when taught at a faster pace..maybe because of the fluidity, not sure. I haven't had the courage to tell my instructor that i'm having a hard time learning because of how slow the pace is without coming across as an arrogant prick but this helps out so much.
It works . Alot of situations you mentioned have worked for me ( specially the belly down armbar , the armbar when under a side control and the cross leg armbar )
This is awesome! I looked over a couple moves and did it in class with my classmates. I learned something new. I know basic ground work but need to improve my technique. Thanks for the videos.
wow, your transitions are awesome! respect. i do judo (fairly new at it though, just a year) and not bjj but i hope to be able to get it done that smoothly someday.
Like the variation! There are a few that I think would be a little too risky sometimes (such as from the pit stop) but there are a couple I didn't know in here!
Dude I love your videos. I had a chance to roll with one of your Blue Belts in Columbia one time, Marcus - and he smoked me lol Goes to show how great of an instructor he has.
Really amazing, thank you very much for the knowledge you share with us, one question the armbar techniques in 1:44 and 1:58 times can be combined with the traditional armbar from mount if the oppoent turns his body to the side trying to put out his elbow?
s mount arm bar, back sweep to arm bar, use the kimura grip to set up arm bars, snap arm bar from side control, far arm bar from knee ride, rubber guard pump arm bar, rolling crusifix arm bar, turtle drag arm bar,
I realize your under time constraints but could you possibly slow down just a bit for us White Belts. Your tips are awesome but i find myself clicking bk way to much
There is a function under "Settings" (the gear icon) that allows you to playback at 1/4 and 1/2 speeds. That's what I did instead of hopelessly rewinding to the wrong spot. It's actually pretty funny just to listen to him talk at half-speed!
This is one of the best BJJ technique videos I've ever seen, and its 10 years old.
I always try to remember one of the moves when I grapple but there's just too many to recall and I always end up getting choked out before I could pull off one. lol

Jd Sanz same Brotha don’t feel bad I’m with ya on that one ☝🏽
You typed this 5 years ago. If you continued BJJ you’re probably laughing at your own comment today
Drilling them after you learn
These are incredible - I'm seeing arm attacks from positions I've never seen before and I've been training for almost 6 years.
you have a horrible teacher
@@randomclips8575 haha
Are you a black belt yet?
@@markmayer3886 Nobody is blackbelt after 6 years
@@robinklietmann6478 He made that comment 6 years ago, if he had continued with jiu jitsu he now has 12 years of training.

I literally watch your videos over and over again.

Your videos are like great songs, I have to rewind constantly because I can't get enough. Thanks for knowledge!

Every one of these video series I see something new and I'm like damn that's cool
You have something that i miss a lot in my brazillian bjj teachers, which is didactic, you excel on it! congratulations, wish you the best!
Your videos are ridiculously good. Much thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I like to arm bar my training partners when they least expect it. While they're sitting on the toilet, just pop up, hip out, and extend.
These videos are brilliant. It's amazing how much useful information you can get in such a short video. Loved the first scarf hold Armbar.
Awesome video
I especially love the Kesa style armbar there. Sweet!
Jason. . .you are a beast. I've been watching you for so long, i feel like I am one of your students!!!! Awesome stuff and I am learning lots. thanks. . .OSU!!!
i dont pick up many techniques but watching thses vids make me want to get more creative, thanks!
Dude i love the armband from the scarf hold position and that 50/50.
I'm definitely going to have to incorporate this into my training. Right now my husband and I are working strictly on guard passes for the next month or so. Maybe December will be all about armbars.

you are so skilled... if only i had a private coach to teach me all of these...!!
39 different arm bars???? just amazing...thanks Jasculs.
Can't like this enough, yet another cracking video.
I need to watch this 4,000 times lol. this is fantastic!!!
you've given me so many ideas to work on, thank you. The format of these videos is excellent.
Your variations are frikin amazing!!! Thanks!

This is awesome! I looked over a couple moves and did it in class with my classmates. I learned something new. I know basic ground work but need to improve my technique. Thanks for the videos.

Awesome stuff. Thanks for posting!
Good stuff as always! Thank you for sharing!!!
GREAT video!
Thank you!
This is amazing. It shows you multiple variations of submitions and kimuras.
I like the cross legged armbar switch from the regular armbar... is it easier for an opponent to escape from that one? Thanks.
Mastery of craft is a beautiful thing.
I've never tried armbar from x-guard, have to test that one out for sure.
Another great video, keep it up!
Damn, I wish I'd seen this a couple days ago. That armbar to counter a head wrap in guard would have served me well
Love the video. Inspired now
We need RUclips slow mo button! Repeat Repeat Repeat. lol Great video!
s mount arm bar, back sweep to arm bar, use the kimura grip to set up arm bars, snap arm bar from side control, far arm bar from knee ride, rubber guard pump arm bar, rolling crusifix arm bar, turtle drag arm bar,

Very good video's... I like your style alot! Thanks
...My brain just exploded. So much to absorb from less than 5 mins.
I realize your under time constraints but could you possibly slow down just a bit for us White Belts. Your tips are awesome but i find myself clicking bk way to much
The very beginning must also have gone by too fast for you.
There is a function under "Settings" (the gear icon) that allows you to playback at 1/4 and 1/2 speeds. That's what I did instead of hopelessly rewinding to the wrong spot. It's actually pretty funny just to listen to him talk at half-speed!
half speed : sounds like a drunk man haha
Timothy Henderson You just changed my life on youtube forever.
Hopefully because the tip is actually useful, and not just b/c it's hilarious to hear him talk!
WOW. What belt are you and how long have you been doing this? If you don't mind my asking.
JSculls U RULE!!!
reat video, lots of new stuff that i haven't seen beofre. Thanks!
2:28 is simply amazing I do it as a white belt and caught blue belts easily
This is just wow
The video I needed
whats more amazing is that there are like 200 more armbars techniques out there
This is awesome!
hey could you do a series on leglocks one day?
That was awesome!
столько всего простого,но гениального!не могу все запомнить!
Love your videos 🤙
This is awesome but every time jason says "A lot of people don't know this" I'm like "but you can put your weed in there" lol
Genius! .. Master class!
This was an amazing video. Great job!
