I have never seen a physical therapist but this video is THE BEST introduction for someone who does not know what PT is about. Thank you!

Great video! PT has helped me more than any doctor has, to-date, in managing my conditions. I was diagnosed with POTS almost five years ago and found myself quickly deconditioned and barely able to walk to the bathroom. After trying to get back into exercise on my own, I realized I needed help and was incredibly blessed to find my physical therapist. While working with her, we discovered I am also hyper-mobile, so she’s helped me learn how to modify exercises and daily functional tasks to support my body and its specific quirks. I’ve worked with her on and off for years now and am currently back to seeing her for trunk pain issues. I highly recommend PT for anyone with chronic conditions no matter what they may be; it can significantly improve your quality of life. 🙌

As someone who has seen multiple physiotherapists for my hEDS over the last six years, I genuinely have enormous respect for your profession. Thanks to physiotherapy, I went from being kinesophobic and terrified of movement to enjoying being active and experimenting with exercise, and from losing the ability to handwrite for ages to having just-about-legible handwriting (🤣) and refinding my love for art. I found you about three years ago and enjoy your workouts. I always look forward to 6pm when I can just close my laptop, grab the Pilates mat, and unwind. Thanks for all you do - and to all other physiotherapists, too!

Thank you! I'm having hip replacement surgery 3/14 and PT is already scheduled for 3/18. I know it's critical in my healing process.

I was told I didn’t need PT after major abdominal surgery. Even though I couldn’t get out of bed without help. Almost a year later I wish I’d gone. It would’ve helped so much. Is it too late now? My muscles have healed but they’re so much weaker and the old abdominal workouts I used to do are too much.

Very useful video, thanks! For someone woth scoliosis, what kind of tests/information would you need to be able to do an online session?

None :)! There is paperwork you fill out before seeing me and then we talk through a lot. I don't need any imaging beforehand!
