The LBT 6094 plate carrier. Designed for operators for operators, and also us. GBRS helped designed this rig, and it's a sweet setup. London Bridge Trading makes awesome gear, check them out. The Hesco body armor will be covered in a video next week.
What is the 1911 Syndicate? We do a few things. We started out as a real estate company primarily targeted at serving the military/LE/shooting/hunting communities. Consider it our "day job" and we can serve you pretty much anywhere in the USA. Next we're a content producer. We kind of fell into it semi by accident, and here we are today. I got the LBT 6094A modular plate carrier a few months back. I’m in VB and showed up since I thought they had a shop still. It was the factory lol. The lady connected me with the sales director and he had me swing by and personally hooked me up with a great deal. Awesome company and great people!!

I’m rocking the defense mechanisms MEPC. Absolutely excellent and it has a nice little pocket I can Velcro on the front that I keep my tactical pizza lunchables for when I’m in a pinch.

@@chrisblau3116 armour lunchmakers pepperoni pizza. Comes with two rounds, a pack of sauce, some cheap mozzarella, and a mini crunch bar to give you that extra kick. I replaced my ifak with two bottles of sunny D. 👌🏽 It’s a real slim and streamlined setup.

Hesco 3810 series plates alone will run you $1000-$1800 depending on the size, for the pair. Price is way off. Even if these are the “cheaper”3800, that’s still $1000 - $1100 for the pair. I’m guessing you didn’t have to pay for these.

While wearing the minimalist cumberbund, the side plates pinch between my belt and plate (on my love hips when I run) ... Did I F something up on installing? I cant find info.
Nvm. Saw 6:15 doesnt look like this guy runs much... And his cumberbund sags more than mine.
DEFIANTLY cant run with side plate, it'd LITERALLY make you bleed and pinching off your love handles.

11:20 does this guy ever use those pockets? You cannot put a mag in them 1handed AND its a pain to put a mag in 2handed when NOT wearing the PC.
(Essac kydex inserts fix this though (ciling down required))

I can appreciate you getting a great deal for whatever reason. But it seems a little disingenuous to put it out there that people are going to get a LBT Hesco rig fully kitted WITH side plates for less than a grand.
Once they put their cart together and see the real folks total they'll end up with steel plates in a 5.11 carrier.

Fast forward to 5:15 - The first 5 minutes is nothing but fluff.
Trex carrier is slicker, and has more cummerbund modularity. And for nearly half the price. Side plates and 11 mags not needed, lose the weight! 👍🏼

Different purpose tho. It’s designed to be a minimalist carrier with a placard or two that lets your carry a couple mags. This is more of an assaulter kit.
@@CertifiedBullpupHater fully agree on that, I don't envision most of us regularly using assaulter kits though. More likely the minimalist set up. If you use 11 mags of 5.56, plan on being on the news haha.
I am very similarly prepped, and believe civs (like me) need this stuff, so I get it. I just look at his lbt carrier and go.. Frick that's a lot of weight.

On my MEPC I can slick it down really light or slap like 10 mags on it if I want to get all the attachments etc. I really like the modularity of most modern plate carriers but yeah I don’t see my self ever carrying more mags than the 4 (3 on front one on a side pouch) on my carrier than that.
Can you imagine using 360 rounds in a firefight? Man id poop myself after the first couple rounds haha.
@@CertifiedBullpupHater haha I likely would also. At the range, I usually run 2 on carrier (slot 3 is for radio or pistol mags) and then 1 rifle on belt. I'm guessing if things went poorly for real I'd possibly run another rifle 😂

RMA Armament is 10x the better company than Hesco. Hesco has MULTIPLE plates FAIL NIJ FIT tests and Hesco has even recalled and discontinued several models because of that. RMA has never failed a fit test. They are much more transparent as well. Personal I would say RMA and Hoplite are the 2 best companies you can buy armor from right now. Ditch the faulty Hesco’s.
