I had just purchased a Spectre, and had 6 games on it and then the USBC hit us. So I ordered a Wolverine from the exchange site, and then BAM, USBC strikes again (no pun intended). So I watched this video and ordered a HyRoad Pearl as the replacement, although I'm not real thrilled with getting an 8 year old ball to replace an almost never used new ball. I'll keep you posted on my reaction to the pearl. Nice video Luis!
An 8 year old ball that’s still in production. The one you’re getting will likely be poured in 2022. Don’t get caught up in the initial release date
Love the Spectre..!! First Pearl I have thrown and it is Spectacular..!! First game was 190, a few 170s and a 222 last game..!! For someone with a 141 average, this was a dream come true..!! A very strong ball at the end of the lane suits me very well..!!

Great video as always! I’m not surprised by what I saw, the Spectre has both a stronger core and cover so you had to be further in with it, I’d like to see this compared to the Wolverine! I think the Spectre and the Wolverine would be a lot closer
It's not. The wolverine isn't as strong downlane. The wolverine hooks a little earlier but seems to be a little weaker at doing what the typical angular ball does

I’ve been curious about the spectre for a while. My bag needs a pearl, but the guy at my pro shop says I should get hy-road (OG). For a stroker with medium speed and low-medium rev, which is better. Note my hook monster is a ZM (zen master) and spectre or hy-road would be for later in the day when ZM over hooks.
Absolutely can’t go wrong with a Hyroad!
I may get the Spectre, drill the same as my Hyroad Pearl, and just let the coverstock and core make the difference in motion.

Luis, I could be wrong, but I think that you are throwing more strikes with the Storm/900 Global equipment than you did with the Motiv balls. I have a Hyroad Pearl, but I haven't figured out how to throw it yet. It flares too much on me. I've always had trouble with Storm equipment, but wanted to try it out. I threw a 246 tonight with my Desert Tank (my all time favorite ball! Why the hell did Motiv retire it?!!) so I can use that until I figure out where I need to play the HRP. Good luck making this your full time job. I hope it works out.

I love these videos where you compare two balls. But what about a bowler who is low rev and speed yet loves to bowl but is struggling this year. I am 73 years young and have been bowling for thirty years. I am always thinking I need the newest and greatest yet they don’t always work for me
For the lower rev rates I imagine the differences in these balls are The same just from further right

Watching the reaction of the hy road has me interested in your MPH and rev rate, do you have those specs?
Love watching the videos, you definitely seem more confident and versatile now that your not stuck on Motiv!
My mph average is 17 and rev rate average is between 375-390. My physical issues have zero to do with Motiv lol they are a great company it just didn’t work out is all
@@LuisNapoles Wasn’t meant to be negative towards Motiv just the fact as being contracted you could only throw their stuff.
Seeing you be more versatile using other stuff is just my opinion, I would bet your current aresenal wouldn’t have much Motiv stuff in it though.
Could you please compare side by side the Hustle Camo and the IQ Tour solid. I've been starting with the Camo in league play and it works great but as the night progresses we get a ton of carry down plus the right side gets burned up. I try and move left but then it's not enough ball and wont quite make it back with good carry. Wouldn't the IQ Tour solid be strong enough to make it back?

@The Observer the situation you're describing generally means you need to go with something a little stronger and more angular when moving inside. RST X-2 is that ball for me, could be a Rubicon UC2, HB Revival, Spectre, Wolverine...etc

Not rolled much storm I have a in your nano pearl but I drilled it so weak that I don’t get the full effect but I ordered me a phase 2 to fill a spot. But low end pearl sums are up my alley all fay
I’m not a fan of drilling strong balls weak. That’s what weak balls are for

I got talked into a Hy Road Pearl to replace my old GB3 but sadly I’ve found it doesn’t even come close to my old ball, pretty disappointed

Why do you muscle your entire back swing? And have such late timing. You finished your slide and the ball is still at the top of the swing. Just makes me wonder...alot

So don’t confuse late timing with bad timing. Two very different things there
Compared to what I see in both league and in regional tournaments, his form is still better than 80%+ of bowlers I see, and I see a lot. In the end, it's about repeatability. He can do a spin and moonwalk backwards and strike, and if he can do that every time, then it's all good.
