      Probably your technique was not ideal. There is no reason to have a sore neck. Pay attention to the cues in the video & you will be fine.

      You can practice rabbit pose or neck stretches such as the ones described in this video: ruclips.net/video/HjOsqd_9NDk/видео.html

      If the pain is constant you should see a doctor. Next time you try make sure you don’t have any pain prior to starting & review this video again. It is important to pay attention to all relevant points I am making.

    I cannot perform classical handstand, because I am very afraid of falling back. This fear prevents me doing the handstand. If I know how to fall back safely I will have courage. Can you describe me please how I can fall back safely while practicing? Please know that I am beginner and I can not fall by making a wheel movement. Thank you.

    • @AnastasisTzanisYoga
      @AnastasisTzanisYoga  2 года назад

      I don’t think that what you are describing is a good way of learning how to learn to headstand or handstand thus I am not teaching it.

    • @zehravigna4873
      @zehravigna4873 2 года назад

      @@AnastasisTzanisYoga do you mean that we don't have to think to fall back ? But it can happen, and if I know the safe way of falling back, first I will be more courageous because I will reduce my fear, second, if I fall back I will make less harm to my body.

    • @AnastasisTzanisYoga
      @AnastasisTzanisYoga  2 года назад

      @@zehravigna4873 it is not a matter of thinking or not thinking wether you will fall back. It’s a matter of developing the body awareness & muscle control for this not to happen. What you are describing is what you think makes sense but you currently cannot headstand. The approach in my opinion very flawed. I will share soon a video on how to learn to headstand - without having to learn to backbend out. I may even creat a video explaining why backbending out is a bad idea.
      Thanks for your comment.

      @@AnastasisTzanisYoga I camn of course very well headstand. But the reason why I could have learned it very easly, I learned at first how to fall back safely, and it is very easy to fall back in headstand (or tripod), you just roll back. But it is another ball game in HANDstand. I don't know how to fall back safely and I can even nor imagine. And it blocks me doing handstand.

    • @AnastasisTzanisYoga
      @AnastasisTzanisYoga  2 года назад

      @@zehravigna4873 I see. I thought that when you said handstand it was a typo. Fair enough. I still think that learning to headstand or handstand by practicing falling over increases the chances of developing bad habits, which is why I don't teach how to come out from a handstand into a backbend. You can watch this video on how I teach students a way to get out of a handstand: ruclips.net/video/rzA27hRookY/видео.html
      ps: Even this drill I consider to be unnecessary for a lot of students. But for some, it is useful indeed.

    How do you make the pelvis rotation ? When I am lying on the floor, I can exercice very well the pelvic rotation, I can rotate my pelvic, because my legs are on the floor and I can take the support from the ground to shift my pelvis. Hovewer when I am on handstand position I am lost, I dont know how to shift my pelvic. I can not command my pelvis. Do you know why and how can I correct it ?

    • @AnastasisTzanisYoga
      @AnastasisTzanisYoga  2 года назад

      First off if you follow the progressions of this video: ruclips.net/video/lRYqUK-5d_4/видео.html you will not need to make any pelvic rotations in a headstand.
      Second, while I have not met you chances are that you cannot make the rotation you need primarily due to lack of pelvic awareness and secondary due to strength. However unless you work with a teacher it is easier to get stringer than to improve awareness. So practicing this sequence: ruclips.net/video/Zm_ZsLpUSlQ/видео.html daily should help.

    In headstand shoulders should be aways from the ears, hovewer in HANDstand shoulders should be very close to the ears. They even say while doing HANDstand : "shrug your shoulders toward your ears." Why this is the opposit of HEADstand ? Thank you for the answer.

    • @AnastasisTzanisYoga
      @AnastasisTzanisYoga  2 года назад +1

      Because of the head being in contact with the floor in headstand. If you were to elevate your scapula in headstand the neck vertebrae would take too much pressure.
      ps: the shoulders should not shrug towards your ears in a handstand as this would move them towards internal rotation. However the scapula should be elevated bringing the shoulders towards the ears.
