When I was pregnant, my husband didn't want me to work and be stressed about finances so he worked really hard having two full time jobs and I felt so bad because he was barely getting sleep and saving for our daughters needs and for his paternity leave. That was his decision, but I felt so terrible, like I could do something different to help, but he ended up being right because I gave birth early at 32 weeks pregnant due to family stress and thinking back if I had financial stress I probably would have given birth even earlier which is what he was trying to avoid because he was a premie baby at 7 months. Im learning to stress about things less and allow my husband to take on things that feel overwhelming to me because some things to me are world ending when, in reality, god has a plan, and we will get through anything.

Those types of women never really realize what other behaviors (or how abusive they are being) they have around the house, the children, and how they treat their partner because they're unhappy. She blamed our dad for being a stay at home, but she made the decision as well. When we grew up and our dad asked her to finally go back to work to help out, she talked big but wouldn't get a job and she was always too good for jobs below management.

This is so confusing to me. I don't understand how any married person, whether both are earning income or just one, would have no idea what's in their bank account. It takes no effort at all to pull up the app on your phone and glance at the summary. How is it even possible for her to "hide" the info, did she change all the passwords and lock him out of the accounts? If so, dude should lawyer up and separate their finances to protect himself.
Also, in this particular situation where they've added a child (expenses went up) and lost a job (income went down), wouldn't they naturally be extra focused on finance to make sure the budget is still okay? You can get used to spending a certain amount without worrying when all your income and expenses are constant, but when there's a major shock to the system like this, you need to be constantly reevaluating. It's kind of shocking that neither of these adults would be on top of this. I want to hear from the husband, maybe he's walking on eggshells to not offend his wife, because she's insecure about no longer having a job? Idk, it's hard to think of an excuse that justifies this.

My nephew is 25 and had a gf who is 22 and they have 2 kids one 2 year old and a 4 month old and his useless gf stays home with the kids n says her job is way way way harder then working 50 hours a week in the Florida heat. But she is useless when they kids have a doc appointment he has to leave work go pick them up and take all of them to the doc. Even tho my parents gave her a car and she has a license. But for whatever reason she can't even take the kids to the doc alone. She has her mom come and help her take care of the kids almost every day. My poor nephew said he asked for a glass of water the other night and she got upset and said u can get ur own water. It breaks my heart to see how poorly she treats him. I pray to God he realizes she is taking advantage of his kindness. And I hope he leaves her I know she will get child support but at least he will be happy bc he looks miserable with her. I think she only wanted kids to collect a check when they break up

Couple issues. Her getting pg at 19/20, was a huge mistake both your nephew and she made. She's no idea about responsibility so is passing it to older adults. Like an under developed child would. Then the other issue is she's being enabled. Her mother. Your nephew. While they help her, she'll never be a proper partner or mother.

I worked, raised kids, ran a home. Looking back I have no previous idea how I did it. I'm now "retired". Enjoyably lazy. With a simple life. My kids are grown so that's fortunate but they are just as much hard work.
My problem was fear of debt. Fear of things falling apart. So I was the CEO of our home. Never dated an alpha male who deals with things I deal with. Never will now.
They just don't exist unless they are abusers also

I don’t know… A 2 year old and a 4 month old can be pretty tough if the baby isn’t sleeping well (which common at that age) and she is doing the nights. My kids are still little so the memories are very fresh for me😅
And my husband had to take time off to drive me to the first couple doctors appointments after the baby was born because I wasn’t supposed to be lifting anything for 6 weeks.
But those first months with the baby can be so hard, I’d give her some grace 🤷‍♀️

    • @RealLucyHaughey
      @RealLucyHaughey Месяц назад

@adrienne_reads thing is if you're struggling with a young child, you don't get pregnant again until it's older. Women need to take responsibility for their choices to have kids close together. I've had 3.
Two in my early twenties about 2.5 yrs apart. And my third a decade later.
The 2.5 yr old was potty trained and walking and talking and at nursery when I had his younger brother. He was sleeping too. But yeah it had it's challenges. But I wouldn't have had them 1 yr or 1.5 yrs apart. I worked full time too. X

@@RealLucyHaughey I just think that people can’t know what they don’t know. I had a difficult baby (up every 45m at 4 months old) and then an easy baby (up 3x a night to eat at 4 months). If I’d had them in the opposite order I might have had them closer together thinking it would be no problem and then been in way over my head 😆

I’m stay at home wife my husband gives me a budget and I work with my budget, if I need more he will give me more if I ask but he pays bills first, we budget spending money & anything else goes through him. I just picked up a waitress job on weekends to make extra spending money for myself. Money is too low value in this world now. My husband makes most of our money so he manages it!

So another woman calling in the Dr Baloney show complaining about the man she chose? So she has lied to him etc, but of course he is the problem, lol. All the young men out there listen to this call carefully then read the title then listen again. Do you see how the narratives are framed? He is the immature husband, he is the problem. Of course she picked him, lied to him but don't bother with that, lol. It's a shame this video will only get 20-30K views mostly from women and bots but if you happen by this please don't get married. This is one of hundreds of calls you can listen to on this pod cast of women essentially laying the blame for all of their problems at the feet of the men they chose. Don't combine incomes, don't live together, don't get married. You can have a great long term relationship with a woman and never be in a legally binding contract with her. Good luck.

😂 it’s a command and the will of the Lord that woman guide the house. Meaning to homeschool your own kids and cook great heathy food. These two tasks alone will give the mom a satisfaction for life. Unless you only have a couple kids 😂 and you waist money and be lazy and eat out all the time. Let the wicked be confounded and confused. Thank you Lord for a life of purpose for the everlasting life to come.

I bet you've never done just cooking and cleaning and felt fulfilled. You should try it for a month. Nobody really feels fulfilled doing that. What makes it worth it is having a husband who is grateful and helpful and loving. You know, a real partner. Not someone who tells you what you should and shouldn't feel just because the Bible says. A man actually like Christ. Good luck there!! You really need it.
