  • We are at White Cottage PA on the Monongahela Railway as we watch a north bound loaded coal train pass with one of the new GE Super-7R's B23-S7 #2304 leading two GP38's, #2002 and 2003. The second clip is at Waynesburg PA. As we watch some of the train pass, we see hopper cars from Penn Central, Reading, Erie Lackawanna, Conrail and Cambria & Indiana. Including a 2 bay hopper. An MGA caboose brings up the rear. Video was taken 5/15/1990. Thanks for watching. Jackmp294.5™

First time I see a not-FNM or not ex-FNM Super 7 locomotive. This engine is very common in Mexico.

The Super 7s were rebuilt from WP U23Bs.

I didn't know they had some gp38-2s. Did they have anything else, besides the super 7s, and the gp38-2s?

They had some GP 7's as well. Before that, they had Baldwins switchers, and a few Sharks. Here is a picture I took of the GP7's in 1982. www.flickr.com/photos/jackdk/24976180827/in/album-72157659818315390/ , Thanks for watching...
