Enjoy another railfan video from my evening visit to Leetsdale just a few miles away from the Conway Yard from earlier this week. I got out here when it was nice and sunny. As I awaited the Monongahela heritage unit to arrive, the weather took a turn for the worst. Luckily we got the heritage unit with BNSF locomotives seconds before it began to storm. We also caught the NS 4002 black sonic bonnet locomotive by surprise. Enjoy!

Hi Wallie! Great railfaning video catches! That first one I saw a day or two ago on Chessie System Railfan's channel. He caught that same train going thru Allentown (Eastern PA) heading to Conway. He called it The Black Mane (of the Thoroughbred horse logo). That's the first time I've seen the Monongahela heritage unit. I saw videos of when they where still in operation and was the scenery beautiful. I guess that would have been down in God's Country in Fayette and Green counties and West By God (WVA).

We had a storm in Granbury Thursday that kicked in a large dust storm at the greenhouses. It was strong enough to rip part of the shade cover off of a greenhouse. The buildings were shaking. That front coming towards you looked just like it. Glad you're safe and what a catch on both trains 🚂🚃🚃🚃. Definitely good.
