You hit the nail on the head that there is NOTHING to look forward to anymore. Even considering upcoming maps/heroes theyre so few and far between they have almost no impact on the game outside of broken metas. OW is in maintenance mode, we're just getting the bare minimum indefinitely. I'm pretty much done with OW unless blizz grows some brains and makes an OW show.
They've proved they cannot make good heroes. They cannot balance pre-existing heroes. I unfortunately do not care for maps anymore they're essentially the same. They've even removed some of my favourite ones from OW1. They completely ruined tank, it's the most unfun thing ever and to remotely be able to have fun as tank, so many things need to go right in the match. They are obsessed with the currency system and it's obnoxious as hell.

I can't play tank for longer than for 3 matches before I get sick of the bullshit counter-swappers in QP of all places. This game is just miserable, I don't see the balance, teh support just dominate the game. I play Doomfist most the time, I instantly see McCree/Sombra Ana/Zen, Orisa/Mauga/Hog. I have more fun playing comp than playing QP because less people play the meta. What really had me shook was mirrorwatch Doom and Rein actually felt tank-like! REIN in that made was actually able to do something, if he had the passive from mirror watch and a 15% faster movement speed I'd say Rein would be more fun. Doom with the current kit doesn't work for being a tank and does so little damage
Tbh. I am glad they introduced the mythic shop. I am a one trick player. And i hope they release more mythic skins and weapons now in faster pace so i can actually spend my mythic currency on something. In general i feel like the game actually dies want our money. No weapon skins to buy. No nothin that other free to play games have. The cosmetic Categories in this game are really lacking
I just wish someone would make a bootleg version of the last OW1 version where shields have 1/4 of their health removed. Please, even if its illegal, please just let me play the game I fell in love with...

I get counter swapped on ball less in comp than QP
