i got the treadstone tr6 rated for 400+hp. costs over 3x of the fmic one. i would like to see the fmic core do over 400hp in reality, since its nearly the same as the boostproducts intercooler

The treadstone units in general are better if you are size constrained and need more cooling, but its not gonna make a huge difference. most likely backpressure is also going to be lower, but compared to a FMIC unit there shouldnt be much difference, as those units are made pretty well compared to some other chinese models wich can have big issues.
i wouldnt buy anytning other than the fmic ones work great at a great price, but to each their own.

      Thanks man
Yeah you can get by with keeping both you just gotta reroute the lines slightly, tho its easier with 2 inch hot side and does not make much difference

@@throttlebuddies6356 yeah I was just razing ya broski .. you are very good with info and explaining brotha .. keep on killing it bro , I dig your build .. I think I about to drop from the gtx3071r gen 2 dbb to the g25-550 with the .48 AR as apposed to my .63 AR on the 3071 ... what the spool like on the g35 you run? That's what I looking now is a Lil better response as I street drive it and when spooling is around 4500 it don't grab quick enif for my liking, thinking I keep this turbo for drag racing as it's a monster top side but for daily I think the g25-550 be decent and still hold the high boost I run (30psi lol) ...again I like your content bro I just found ya today and been benge watching your mx5 content lol peace brotha

@@mastercricket7626 Thx for the input, that was my goal haha :D i would probably go for the G25-660 with the .72 housing since that does not choke flow up top. Power wise it will be able to handle similar levels to the 3071 if not slightly more even. Response and spool should also be improved around 300-400 RPM at least. since the G25 has the same size turbon wheel as a GTX28 but with better flow so should be doable also the 660 compared to the 550 should not spool up much differently

@@throttlebuddies6356 word .. so u think the .48 are housing gonna choke out on me up top? Right now I limit it at 7 k but once I finish redoing the head imma set limiter to between 8500 and 8700 k ... the .63 is rad but it don't full boost ya know till like 4500 , which I guess would not be bad with a higher limiter ... I just member the response of the 50 trim church I started with as a budget build and it lit up at like 3500 but it fell up top , but I also feel that my fault as I push them past there li.its lol ... thanks for response bro and talking with me .. much love and respect there brotha

@@mastercricket7626 the 25 660 should be able to hit full boost at about 3800-4000 rpm with the .72 housing. The .48 one will definetly choke flow above 7000 rpm
