The Alathiyoor Sri Hanuman Swamy Temple, also known as Alathiyur Perumthrikkovil or Hanuman Kavu, is a renowned Hindu temple in Kerala, India. Located near the Ponnani and Bharathappuzha rivers, it's believed to be around 3,000 years old, built by the sage Vasishta. While Lord Rama is the main deity, Hanuman, the devoted monkey god, is equally revered. The temple complex includes shrines for Lakshmana, Ganesha, Durga, and other deities. Visitors can find a large temple tank for purification rituals and a peepal tree, considered sacred in Hinduism.
