- Auto Focus film cameras while less common than manual focus they are more recent. So let's see if they are actually any good.

Thank you for taking the time for this video. The prices for film cameras are crazy now days, I picked up a Mamiya C330 for $50.00 in a GoodWill. Now days you would be lucky to find any film camera in your local GoodWill story. I wish you well with your videos and hope to hear more of you.
Straight forward. Thanks!!
I love my 645AFD ❤️ Such an underrated camera
It’s really is such a great camera that gets overlooked because of other Mamiya’s
@@justinewillard8481 Yeah, it has a niche following but maybe we should keep it that way lol 😆
Don’t worry I got you 🤐
@@justinewillard8481 lol 😉
I'm pretty sure it's not overlooked it's just more popular along people that shoot with digital backs.
But among the auto focus cameras Mamiya is at the sweet spot that receives a fair amount of attention and still been relatively affordable.
I love this camera but was never able to afford it. Now that is is older, it is hard to find one at a good price. Love the photos of the bay area.
Thanks, it really is a great camera. Unfortunately the prices on eBay are a little high and it looks like there aren’t many other places to pick one up from which is common for an underrated camera.
I was able to find one on eBay with a Phase One P45 digital back and 4 lenses and some other accessories, but it's got to be shipped in from South Africa. The customs costs are about $280 by themselves, plus about $130 in international shipping. With what I got, I still couldn't find any domestic US prices that matched even closely. 😁
Wow what a score especially with that digital back, I’m so jealous right now
You are very talented :) You get so much out of just basic street scenery
Thank you ☺️
Off topic: can someone with a Mamiya645afd tell me how many iso steps there are? My back screen is broken :/ and I wanna set the iso from 0 -160
Many thanks 👌🙋🏻♂️
Great images and review.
Thanks!
Technically there's a smaller format on 120 than 645--cameras like the Diana shoot 4x4. Still the same number of frames, but the photos are a little smaller.
Yes the 4x4 format is the smallest you can shoot on medium format but it’s not very common so I didn’t mention it. In fact when making the video I just completely forgot about it in the first place. But thanks for commenting this in case anyone was interested.

Do you still own this camera?
No I was renting the camera
@@justinewillard8481 oh nice where did you rent it from?
I rented from my school
@@justinewillard8481 dang I have a Mamiya 645AFD that I was gifted by a friend but missing battery case/holder. Wanted to borrow one to see if worth buying one for this one.
If there is a chance the camera works I’d take it, it’s just a great camera
