  • Join Meg from AIM Fitness for standing stretches to help keep you flexible, relaxed, and mobile! If you have lost your flexibility or notice a difference in it, you tend to injure easily, and you want to exercise more often, then this video is for you!
    In this video, there is no talking or instructions. Enjoy the music and follow along with Meg's movements. The timer indicates that each exercise is done for 30 seconds. Enjoy!
    As we age, it's especially important to build strength for everyday tasks, work on flexibility to prevent injury, and maintain mobility in order to move around pain-free and with ease. This is a workout suitable for Adults 50+, Seniors, or beginners.

    These standing stretches are great even for younger people imo. I try to do a quick 10-minute yoga practice every morning before work but if I'm running late I'll do one of these instead. I often do these during my work day too as a quick break time activity, it is so versatile bc you don't need to roll out a mat etc.

    I saw your channel for the first time today. I am 65 yrs old and I followed along with you and did the excercises. It was awesome!!! Gentle but effective. I like that you don't do a lot of talking, but get straight to the excercises.

    Hi Meg. I have been using your 5 minute stretch for senior routine and have found it helpful. I'm 68 and active but still have some stiffness in the mornings and I have found that your routine helps. I'm trying this one now for a bit to change it up. I also like your workout in the Tropics. Thank you.

    Watching in 2024…loved it it was short and effective. I only wish you had a bell or signal when you finished the stretch so I didn’t have to keep my eye on my screen. But other than that it was a great cool down segment 😊

    I'm from India and I have knee pain but now relief can I this exercise everyday my left leg slidely bend when I walk can I other exercise like standing exercise and cardio exercise with chair exercise etc

    Thank you for this stretch video. Is it okay for someone with osteopenia or osteoporosis to do Exercise #2, Standing Twist? I really enjoy your videos and try to follow along to at least one every day.

    Liked the program, key exercises that really help. It may take a while to get used to the no talking by you! I do like your way of interacting and talking as you exercise, and like the feel of not being alone with the exercise.

    This is lovely. Like you. I think the addition of the countdown timer is really helpful and hope you will use it in some of your upcoming videos where it's most appropriate. I wonder whether, with a no-talk video, you might ask participants before the stretching begins to watch the first time you do each exercise and then join in. Only when I stopped to watch the forward fold exercise, for example, did I realize it was a hinge movement rather than a stretch right down to the toes. Another example was the hamstring stretch. I realized after watching that when you came up you pulled your elbows back. Ha ha, you asked for feedback. Wonderful as always. Trudy
