Ford is saying they don’t need you. And too many gadgets is too many repair visits. My company provides ford for the past 20 years and it’s literally the worst set of cars on the road but they build so many the quality issues are lost in the math. I’m a ford expert by force not by choice.
great truck but price...
$78k 😂
I think that’s a 22 inch rim
"In the back [for 78k] you get a solid [already rusted] axle." C'mon Ford. Stop this. The "it's just surface rust" is not acceptable at this price for a brand new vehicle.
Curious….why does that surface rust bother you so much?

For that price, both form and function are important.

@@Jacob99174 I have no idea what you just said sir. I asked Snappydadshoes a question and you replied with this......?
@@cwqrpportableits alright, not everyone will understand everything. This applies to me as well lol
👍🤷🏿♂️
@@cwqrpportableFor that much money, they should have painted it. You can go ahead and support them for cutting corners. Many of us won’t pay for unfinished parts at such a high price. We know better.
80k for a mid level truck is ridiculous. Now I know why Ford is over stocked with them.
Needs that v8 😒
Those are 22 inch wheels.
Just rewatched that part. It was a bad edit. Took off the two part of 22.
@drivingsports jumped too quick to the comment section. Realized you referred to them as 22 inch throughout the rest of the video. Great review!
How and who the hell can afford this thing?
It does NOT have full time four wheel drive
I don't want a pos power boost 6 cylinder. If I can't get a v8, I won't buy another Ford truck .
$78k, I stopped watching as soon as the price came up on the screen.
The scales aren’t accurate.
Yah.. no I prefer work truck white. I hope you're not paying extra for that.
Thanks Ryan. Sadly, all I see is price gouging at its finest and an out of touch manufacturer.
80K for an Ecoboost engine? Absolute disastrous decision to buy these engines.
My 2012 Lariat with ecoboost has had zero issues. I don’t baby it. It has done lots of work. Regular maintenance. It is rusting, but I cannot complain at all about reliability.
The Ecoboost has proven to be reliable.
@@GreatDarkKnightEcoboost are disastrous garbage engines. If anyone is considering a Ford at least go for the Coyote engine.
Overpriced truck!! 78k should be platinum or limited trim with powerboost
Why did you insult all drivers by showing this uselss Detroit junk?
Yikes you bought a new land cruiser...get friendly with your local Toyota dealer service department because you are gonna be spending a lot of time there
Anything twin turbo is junk.
Why do you feel that way?
Nah.
@@ALMX5DP about $5,000 to replace them whenever they go out which they will. And oil burners especially on a small engine like that.
@@joshtaylor1416 seems a bit steep, I see OEM Ecoboost turbos for like $450-700 each, and they’ll likely last an owner for at least 150-200k miles if maintained.

Truck? This Is pickup not Truck. Truck Is Like Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mercedes-Benz Truck, Scania, And Mack
Truck covers everything from a hand truck to a road train or 4 story mining rig.
@ALMX5DP didn't you hear? We all voted to let that guy determine what qualifies as a truck.
@@michaels7984 ah crap I forgot all about that election! Yeah I guess now he has the final say on what is or is not a truck.
Just stop.
$78K for a pickup truck is way too much! Additionally, a hybrid for a pickup is like oars on a container ship. All these turbines and electric engines only increase the failure rate and complications in repair, which increases the costs of maintenance and future repairs. Bravo - instead of producing reliable vehicles with a smaller carbon footprint, now they produce complicated crap that in a dozen or so months will be scrapped and new ones will have to be produced!!!
Lol! I'm sure you are still driving a truck from the 1980's... haha
All of these full size trucks on used market right now is a rust buckets, I have an idea why dumb people buy these overpriced full size rust buckets it’s because either for work or fat people won’t fit in the regular vehicle, and I’m sorry for that but most people will not buy these overpriced junks.
Aluminum body rust bucket 😂
What do you mean people won't buy these? The F150 is the best selling "car" in the US.
@@GreatDarkKnight No it’s not.
Just take a LOOK at all truck sales in the US market. Then, retract your statement. Lol
