I have a 2023 Lariat powerboost that is just over one year old. It has been flawless. I love everything about it. I use it to tow a 20' trailer with two xp 1000 rzr's on it also a 22' hewescraft ocean pro boat. Several times last winter I used the 7.2kw generator to power my house during outages.

45 yrs of buying and leasing vehicles for business and personal use and I can honestly say this is the best of the lot. My ‘22 Lariat 502A, F150 Powerboost has been stellar and the fit and finish is great. There have been recalls sure but honestly none of the recalls have warranted immediate attention and all of them have been taken care of during normal service. We use ours for towing our RV and the Propower Onboard system is so great for dry camping. This truck is quick, very quick. You can achieve fantastic fuel economy, particularly around town.
To those who want portray this as a “rusty” vehicle, I say get a life. Sure, there’s surface rust on the rear diff, the rest of the vehicle is spotless and has ZERO issues with rust. Zero

Timely video, I'm actually thinking of getting one of these trucks. I was never a Ford guy, but I really think that 21+ F-150 is probably the best all-around package in the full size market. The versatility and potential economy are great, and they finally stepped up their interiors to be more competitive. I always thought the interior with a weak point on the Ford trucks, but the last few years have been a big jump forward. I don't even really need a pickup truck, I just appreciate the versatility, economy, and luxury of a full size pickup.

I just picked up my 2024 F150 Lariat 502A Lariat Powerboost truck after trying the 2021 F150 Lariat 502A Powerboost for the past 3 years and have the following real world comments on what I've noticed so far with the new 2024 model. The transmission is much smoother and the transition from the gas engine to the electric motor is undetectable. The improved suspension is really a huge feature and something I noticed on the first drive over my 21 model as it soaks up the bumps in a much better way. I feel the stereo sounds better but can't confirm the speakers have been upgraded but the difference is very noticeable including clarity and bass. I'm really enjoying the new heads-up display feature and currently have it set to auto detect and change the display depending on what mode I'm in and must say it's an awsome update. I went with the black appearance package and I really like the truck black interior this time version the black and brown display on my 21 along with the blacked out badges, dual exhaust and updated black 20" wheels. I must say these are the first stock wheels that I'm going to stick with and have already got several compliments on them....which is a first like I said stock wheels. Great job Ford! I keep noticed small changes here and there including throughout the dash digital and center 12" screen and feel the screen performance has been improved. I have the power up and down tailgate which also opens up like a barn door and it also opens up like a regular conventional tailgate. So far, I'm really liking the barn door feature and feel I can get in and out of the truck bed much faster this way and it's convenient when I'm hooked up to a trailer as well. Last of all, the updated front and rear LED lights along with the updated grill complete the package and truly makes it feel like an upgraded truck overall. I'm so glad I held off and didn't get a 2023 F150 instead as it was the same overall design as my 21 but it actually had less options with the chip crisis and all. I haven't gotten to test out the updated 1.2 Blue Cruise on my 24 but I used it to drive to Seattle on a road trip in my 21 during rush hour and it was brilliant! Highly recommend if you're looking to buy a new truck.

Matches my needs so perfectly. I have an off grid solar cottage. This easily matches my 5kW backup generator (which I hardly use now and could get rid of if I’ve got this with me) but this generator has more power and is much more quiet and fuel efficient.
I also have a pontoon boat and bow rider that need to be towed in and out for winter.
But first, it’s a really nice truck to travel distance occasionally, go back and forth to camp, hauling stuff and light town use. It’s like a luxury car paired with a work truck/generator/toy hauler.
While not many have my exact situation I can see this truck appealing to such a broad segment that they will sell very well for Ford.

$78K for a pickup truck is way too much! Additionally, a hybrid for a pickup is like oars on a container ship. All these turbines and electric engines only increase the failure rate and complications in repair, which increases the costs of maintenance and future repairs. Bravo - instead of producing reliable vehicles with a smaller carbon footprint, now they produce complicated crap that in a dozen or so months will be scrapped and new ones will have to be produced!!!
