You also forgot to mention that you can't get the 5.0L in any trim above the Lariat. That was as deal breaker for me after having two different 3.5 EcoBoost failures in our family that required new engines and new turbos. Forced me to build a loaded 502A and that's as high as I could go. Not great marketing by Ford there. Some people want the V8 over the smaller boosted options.
I'd love to see a comparison of the F150 Tremor and F150 Platinum, 2025 model year at this point. Primarily b/c the Tremor offers the Front Torsion Diff but not the Powerboost while the Platinum offers the Powerboost but not the front torsion diff, even if I add the FX4 package, though it does apparently have some added interior luxuries. I'd buy the Tremor if I could with the Powerboost, but since I can't, I'm torn b/c I want both the Powerboost and the front Torsion Diff, but none offer both. Even the Raptor has dropped the Front Torsion Diff so only the Tremor comes with it.
Want lower payload, fake plastic hook vent, higher price, and more complexity, then the platinum is for YOU! If you tow, you need 1,800 pound payload or more.
I find it astounding too that the top end stereo is an "option" on the freaking platinum model. What a joke. And why in the hell is there a $90 charge for the 3.5 Ecochoke on the Lariat? Talk about nickel and diming. And the wheel well liners on the platinum were another $200, they didn't come with it.
You said the Platinum has "active dampeners" but the Lariat just has regular dampeners. What are "active dampeners", and how much better are they? I ask b/c I read somewhere that if I add the FX4 off road package to the Platinum, it loses the "active dampeners", so I'm trying to figure out how big a deal that is. Does the Tremor have anything like "active dampeners"? Thanks.
I guess you didn't notice completely different hoods? The Platinum gets the Tremor hood that is straight across the bottom leading edge. The Lariat hood line at grille contours to the grill. One day, you might become an auto journalist, but maybe not.
Yep doesnt know to Say Tow Hooks ...Also on the Tail gates didnt spot the Built in step i spotted it because i have 3 vehicles with that option..Didnt know to say Wheel well Liner and he had to finger everything up.. They should make him Totally Wipe them down inside and out...

The black appearance package is not available on the 6.4 foot box version of any of these trucks. Someone make it make sense for me.

Yes they are a little different, Platinum drops down and is rounded, Lariat has a lower squared off edge on the front.
He actually did mention they were different. Even said some people might like the difference or not..
