$46K for a Z71 Colorado IS a lot of money for the truck regardless of competition. No matter how many times manufactures try to push this narrative of the new normal $50K average sale price, it's a rip off. That said, I like your videos and you do a great job. And props for the Fiero art shirt.

I just watched your review of the 2024 Chevy Colorado Z71. Great video. Last week I bought the same model and color, but with more tech options. This is the best truck I've ever owned. It was a bit pricey, but it should be my last vehicle I purchased. I'd love to test my truck out on your test track. I'm local, Tacoma/Puyallup area.
Had the Colorado Z71/Canyon AT4 on my list so glad you tested this one. The GM auto locker diff isn’t my favorite either. Also considering a Ranger XLT FX4 , Frontier Pro4X, and maybe a Tacoma TRD Off Road. I still need to sit in a Tacoma to see if the position works for me. Plus the Tacoma pricing is a little higher than I’d like. Really scared to see what a 4Runner TRD Off Road will cost YIKES!!
Same. I wanna know if any of the newer Tacoma's seats are higher up. I hate how low the older models are.. I feel like I'm driving a goat cart on how they sit.
@@numberone2223 maybe if they fixed the seating position. Im 6’1” but a bigger guy and the lower seating position of the previous gen Tacomas didn’t work for me. Need to check out the new Tacoma to see if that is fixed.
I really love the look of this little pickup. It has all the features I want too. I want a nice daily driver with the ability to go off road in case the stuff ever hits the fan. Also, you can tow a good amount with this little guy. But I do not know if I trust the long-term reliability of Chevy/GM. Any thoughts on reliability?
The 2.7 has been reliable in the Silverados from what I hear. Seems like these Colorados came out with software issues that have since been mostly fixed through updates. Of course long term reliability is still unproven but it’s competition like the Tacoma and Ranger aren’t any better imo.
Chevy is garbage. I bought a 2022 colorado Z71. The motor mounts blew, door handles started falling off, and the engine started stalling every time i pulled out of the driveway. The GMC version is better built, but idk about the 2.7.
Nice review! i wonder how many vehicles have delayed-then-abrupt autolockers causing the problems at 19:00. Do the gradual engagement systems work better? Also might be good to mention when a test trail's 4x4 class only, given the national park service's new policy of fining/imprisioning AWD drivers attempting those types of trails.
Yeah, I agree. Auto lockers, at least this one, is pretty much counter productive. It didn't work until it used too much power and kicked the rear end out. No matter. this one isn't expected to be much of an off roader.

Hello everyone. My question is how reliable and durable is the Turbo max engine and the automatic transmission used in this Z71?

So the TRD Off Road has more ground clearance on 32 inch tires than your Ranger Raptor on 33 inch tires?
Thank you for reviewing a lower trim level. Not everyone wants or can afford the top trims.
