    So now for the official rules and whatnot..
    If this channel hits 500k subscribers by February 1st of 2025, I will give away my Ultimate Adventure Blazer to one of my subscribers.
    If that happens I will make a video announcing the achievement and that the giveaway is live. To enter all you will have to do is be subscribed and make a comment on that video within 7 days of the video going live.
    That's it! That's all it takes to enter, with no surprises, no catches, and no requirement to buy my merch or any of that other nonsense! It really is that simple.

    If you win the Blazer will be yours! You will be responsible for delivery or pickup of the Blazer, any taxes due in your state, registration, insurance, and any other costs associated with registering it into your name just as if you were to buy any other vehicle, but with the benefit of not having to buy it! If you are unable to receive the Blazer for any reason, a re draw where we will pick a new winner. Good luck and click that subscribe button!

    I’m a fairly large tow company here in the state of California. I just wanna tell you I am super proud of what you did for those individuals. You’re absolutely correct. People gotta watch out for these scam “tow companies.”
    On the flipside. People that own these Teslas or any small car should not be driving in conditions like that. They could have been stuck for hours and in some cases days. Just my thoughts, your friend and fellow tower Ron.

      @@manp1039 As a relatively large tow company myself. I could probably answer your question. Just because a tow company tows for “AAA”. That doesn’t necessarily make them a “good company“. I know of plenty of bad ones. It is not at all difficult to become a AAA provider. We have towed for AAA in the past. And with the experience that we have had it simply not worth it. I am not picking on AAA. I’m just simply stating all the roadside services out there want to pay as little as possible. With today’s fuel cost and insurance not to mention the wear and tear on your trucks. Doing work for these insurance companies is a lot of wear and tear on the trucks and the drivers.
      Bottom line is. You do need to watch out for the scam companies out there. Do your research and find a legitimate company. If you’re in an area that you’re not familiar with. You could contact your local nonemergency police and they can provide you with a list that they would recommend . Just my thoughts I hope that helped.

    Your young lady at the end reminded of when my Daughter was about 5 years old. Beaumont, Tx had a rain storm that hit 17 inches an hour for about 2 or 3 hours. Some of the streets had 3 or 4 feet of water. There were swamped cars everywhere! When I got home my Wife asked if I could go rescue a friend. My Daughter wanted to help, so we packed hot chocolate, towels, WD-40, etc... I had a Dodge Step Side truck with tall tires, camper shell, and double slide windows that connected the shell to the cab. My Daughter loved climbing back and forth thru the double windows. She became my little hostess, passing out towels and hot chocolate. We rescued a few dozen vehicles. Most people would thank me and try to pay me, but I would tell them "No, I'm just glad I could help!" When we got home, my Daughter pulled her shirt up and about $400.00 fail out! She said everybody told her not to tell your Dad till we got home. I was very upset! Many years later, as an adult, had her own truck, she calls one night to let me know she rescued someone. She said "they tried to pay, but told them No, I'm just glad I can help!" May you realize one day your Daughter was listened and learned a life lesson or two!

      To clarify. Teslas are fake awd. Which means on top of being extremely heavy they dont even have a way to properly put out some controlled torque.
      Absolutely terrible winter cars. You see Teslas stranded all the time when going up north to skiing resorts. And you just think. How did they get stuck there? And how are they possible going so slow here the road Is fine.

All that matters is your tires, your weight, AWD, traction control and the driver. Teslas are heavy, are often AWD and their traction control is fine. This Tesla had 21" wheels that were likely not winter tires and was on a road that would render most cars stuck. Clearance helps in some circumstances like these ruts, but it mostly doesn't affect things on roads, and the Tesla's ground clearance is similar to a Nissan Murano, GMC Terrain or Chevy Equinox.

      In times of stress, people don't rise to every occasion but rather, perform to their level of training, experience and drill. Whether the emergency is driving, medical, financial, on the job, etc., the principle has merit. If you plan on comminuting during an emergency, apply this and do what you need to in practice not, in fantasies.

    I've made an ice rink for several years (about 13) here on a lake in Sweden now. I've tried a lot of different ways to try to make a good ice, different pumps, different ways to flush in different conditions, different scrapes an angles for the plow on the ATV. Finally, last year I made a Zamboni and this year I succeeded. It made the difference. The reason is with a solution like that you put thin layers of water that's get solid with the previous ice. If you flush you get to much water, the surface layer freeze first and the water between that and the old ice (with a little rest of snow) freezing later with some air in. The ice don't last for the skates. I can tell you a lot more if you want more help. The reason I do a ice rink is the same as yours. At the 24th of December we were 74 people (it only lives 45 here permanently) from the village and surroundings that met on the ice and have "fika" (Swedish). Good luck!

      @testi2025 Месяц назад +1

      I believe that an AWD system without locks, you are supposed to have “those systems” on, and then give enough juice to it. So that when it brakes the slipping wheel, there would be enough power to turn the other wheel as well. You can see that the car isn’t really trying until he steps a bit more to it.

    • @jsjs6751
      @jsjs6751 Месяц назад

      @testi2025 I agree. It does seem like it doesn't really try.
      I have tried to disable the stability features many times, and I believe that turning them off might solve that exact problem. 😊
      Granted, it does depend on a lot of factors.
      A lot depends on the driver and experience he/she has. It seems this guy wasn't that experienced.

    • @jsjs6751
      @jsjs6751 Месяц назад

      @testi2025 Also, yeah, AWD isn't good for off-roading.
      It is reasonable until a wheel starts slipping, but from then, it really sucks because it doesn't help if you have 4 wheels for traction when only one or two is moving at the same time.
      Same with 4WD without lockers.
      The only usable off-road driveline is permanent 4WD with full diff lockers (front+mid+rear). That way, all wheels move in exact synchronization.

You stay calm and cool and never get a bit upset. I’ve seen you calm them many times just by your attitude. You not showing a bit of panic assures them that you can get them out and everything is going to be ok.

    Regarding the radios, in scuba diving we call it task overload. This means you are trying to do too many things at once and fail at achieving (any of) them or doing additional unintended mistakes.
    Adding lack of experience in these situations and in consequence stress, your task capability drops dramatically. So if you’re ever in a situation like this- do one thing at a time and focus only on the most important task.

      This was more an issue of ground clearance than traction. With AWD and the weight from the battery that Tesla probably has near Subaru traction.
