This is not "far more ambitious", it is a logical small step forward.. They mentioned China did a one way mission in 2019 with soft landing on far side, but they did not mention Change 5 which was in 2020 December, where China successfully did a two way sample return mission, the first since the 1970s.. This is just combining and advancing change 4+5 missions. Sample return and far side of the moon. China has done both before and now doing both together. This is also far easier than China's mars rover mission which combined 3 missions in 1. Orbiter, lander, and rover. No one has done sample return mission from Mars yet which is the next step.

They mentioned China did a one way mission in 2019 with soft landing on far side, but they did not mention Change 5 which was in 2020 December, where China successfully did a two way sample return mission, the first since the 1970s.. This is just combining and advancing change 4+5 missions. Sample return and far side of the moon. China has done both before and now doing both together. This is also far easier than China's mars rover mission which combined 3 missions in 1. Orbiter, lander, and rover. No one has done sample return mission from Mars yet which is the next step.
