The only Transitions color available in polarized is XTRActive Grey. Any base tint color can be added to it, but when it darkens it will be Grey Polarized.
This is amazing. I have never had progressives done online. How accurate would measurements be? I like the combination of tints and the photochromatic lens.

Great channel your advise would be very helpfull!
Hello, Thank you for watching. Trivex with a blue filter can be tinted, but it most likely is too late to tint after it has already been finished. The reason is that hard coatings and anti-reflective coatings have already been added. Once this is done it is no longer possible to tint.
Awesome. I just picked up my new pair of Transitions Extra Active style mirror blue on your video recommendations. Unfortunately they messed up the order and did the blue style mirror over brown lenses even though I specifically asked for grey.

How do things appear when looking through a fashion tint? how do they alter the colours of things you see? and down the road if you get fed up of the tint and want to go back to clear can it be removed or is it the case of having to get new glasses?
All tint colors except for neutral grey will shade the world in whatever color the tint is. Blue and Green or pretty soothing to most people unless, but everyone is different. The tint can not be removed once applied, so new lenses would have to be made. At our store we never want a client to be unhappy with a tint they have chosen so we have 30 day no questions asked remake option.

I tried to explain to Boots opticians and break down the concept that you can tint a transition lens... I might as well have been an alien speaking gobbldygook 😂. I even knew this was likely possible just from basic common sense yet the optician assistant discouraged and said it's not something that's done/possible.. This is in the UK. And yes they do tints.
Nice 👍 On a single color gradient lens, what percent would you suggest to give a nice look with some “concealment” indoors without coming across to dark like a sunglass; 25-30 or so?
I like to talk in terms of category 1, 2, and 3, with 3 being a full sunglass tint, and 1 being an indoor tint. 1 is just dark enough to be visible by others looking at you, but not so dark as to impede your vision indoors and at night.

Thank you!
Very lucky clients. I have yet to find an optical place that has these options. When you ask about tints, they just stare at you, discourage you, tell you no. 😢
I'm sorry to hear that. If you have something in mind that you would like to do feel free to give us a call at 918-743-6478.
I love it
Hey man this looks so good, I'm planning to buy one of those, how much do these cost?
Hello Palash. Please send us an email to youreyes@hicksbrunson.com or call us at 918-743-6478 and we will be happy to answer any questions.
Sweet...
Wonderfull
Thanks
I tried to explain to Boots opticians and break down the concept that you can tint a transition lens... I might as well have been an alien speaking gobbldygook 😂.
I even knew this was likely possible just from basic common sense yet the optician assistant discouraged and said it's not something that's done/possible.. This is in the UK. And yes they do tints.
Your experience was not uncommon. I hear this a lot. It is as you have seen very possible, but it turns out that it is somewhat tricky to pull off.
What percentage of the tint?
It's about a 35% blue to about a 25% yellow.
