Coincidentally, I just ordered this same combination of transitions with blue gradient tint and blue mirror from your shop about a week ago. Can't wait to see how they turn out!
I have Tiffany prescription with brown transition lenses..but I also want to add the blue gradient and blue mirror so the lenses are not clear inside...is that possible?
I would need to make new lenses for you, which I would be happy to help you with. If you would like more info just email me at daniel@hicksbrunson.com.
Beautiful. I love this blue tint with a blue flash mirror over an XTractive brown transitions lens. What do you see looking through this combination? Can you share a video showing that?
I tried a silver flash on a xtractive grey at my local shop and the reflection on the backend was really bad. Basically unbearable indoors. Anyway to combat the reflection on the backside or did the shop mess up the setup? Thank you
Mirrors are tricky. Even with an anti-reflective coating on the backside, it is impossible to eliminate all reflections from the mirror. Some people can't stand it, and others just aren't bothered by it at all. I'm not sure about this, but the silver may produce more reflections than other colors like Gold and Blue. We do mostly Gold and Blue, and have very few issues.
@@HicksBrunsonEyewear Thank you. I went ahead and got the Xtractive Grey without mirrors. Is the polarized grey worth it vs the regular Xtractive? And do you guys take VSP and online orders? I appreciate the responses.
Where are u located? I have some Ray-Ban 50021 look very similar to the glasses that you’re explaining now I have a silver and I want them prescription. If I send you the prescription can you also do the same thing to my glasses if you can, can you let me know?

What is the difference between the blue indoor tint seen here, and the "sky blue" tint used in your Masunaga K3 Taka tint video? ruclips.net/video/UgrkL_yQPbU/видео.html . BTW, I am use to indoor glasses having a anti-reflective coating, yet the blue flash on the outside of the lens seems to be very reflective. I have the impression that a reflective lens, if desired, should be on sunglasses, not indoor eyeglasses. I am of the belief in a business environment, where communication is important, you can see the other persons eyes. It's not the fashion tint that puzzles me, its the reflective flash mirror coating. Thoughts?
I believe they are both Sky Blue at a similar density. You are exactly right about the mirror coating creating many reflections and really not being appropriate for a formal or typical business environment such as in situations where eye contact is important. The flash mirrors look cool, but they have a place and time to be worn, and not all like them. Some are bothered by the reflections on the lenses because they are sometimes visible to the wearer depending on the room lighting.

And they turned out spectacular!
Great video. Very clear and explains a lot. Is a gradient tint possible in n these lenses?
Yes, absolutely! My featured tint is a gradient blue here.

How does lens material impact the ability to do a fashion tint? Specifically, what about trivex?
Trivex tints pretty well. Some materials like Hi Index can be tinted, but can not be tinted as dark.
@@HicksBrunsonEyewear Thanks. Considering a light blue tint with brown transitions with a trivex lens. This with a blue semi-rimless frame.
How can I get these lens for my prescription sunglasses ?
Send your prescription to daniel@hicksbrunson.com and we can discuss your needs.

These are some sexy specs
Isn't it amazing what a little tint and a flash mirror will do to an old classic like these.
