Dakkon performed super well in the game, I was really happy to see it. This is one of those perfect Dakkon ramp games where the ramp goes perfectly. I run my Dakkon deck similarly to Murph, but I’m always making tweaks, upgrades, and adding new bling. People underestimate the deck in my playgroup and say that I’m handicapping myself by playing Esper lands, but this is more fuel to the fire that it can work! Also, why run a lame card like Multani when you can run the original badass of Magic. I would love to see a new Dakkon in Commander Legends though. It's always fantastic seeing in front of the camera, crew members that are normally behind the camera. It allows me as a viewer to get a feel for the personalities that are involved in bringing Extra Turns and Command Zone to RUclips. Great choice!
Jimmy has heroic intervention in his exile pile and a memory lapse in hand... then taps out for play extra lands. That lost him the game. He knew he was the biggest threat at the time and would’ve probably won his next turn if he just kept open his mana for responses. BIG MISTAKE
He wasn’t tapped out though. He still had a Llanowar Elves and a Temple of Mystery untapped. Could he have countered the Penmin’s Aura, sure, but it would just go to the top of his library, he draws it again when he plays Guardian Project and a creature, recasts and repeats the process. Same outcome regardless.
All I was stating is that regardless if he used the counter spell or not, the same outcome happens regardless so for the originator to comment that he made a mistake by not doing so is bunk.
Christopher Hawkins We only knew of two creatures he had. He wouldn’t have had the mana to play, say, Guardian Project plus Nyxbloom. He would have to have used Fauna shaman by what we know. He didn’t have enough, as GP for 4, FS for 1, a 1 drop for 1 if in his deck, and 3 for Pemman’s aura. He would have been short.
I think what makes a good RUclips channel great is the ability to make their ads entertaining or at least unique in some way. Stellar performance y'all

Extra turns are my favorite episodes! I love the game knights, and how they highlight the new precons. But extra turns are y’all playing your decks, which is amazing as we see y’all’s play styles and varied strategies. Stoked to see (hopefully) one a month!
I like the production of their videos so I watch them but they try and make things interesting that really aren't. I also noticed that the 2 that look like magic players if you know what I mean, I understand why they aren't on the show. They have decks that will steamroll other players and its not always fun to watch them do crazy combos. Forget his name but the main dude that is in every episode seemed kind of upset with the way they were playing.

About Pako's trigger and Teferi's Protection, because a lot of people are asking: Teferi's Protection doesn't phase out the player. They're still there, as are their cards/objects in every zone that's not the battlefield. "Protection from everything" on a player means they can't be targeted, can't have permanents attached to them and all damage aimed at them is prevented. Any effect that doesn't do any of those will go through just fine, so yes, Pako will still exile cards from the top of their library. Another example: you resolve a Teferi's Protection in response to my Smallpox. You won't lose any life (your life can't change) and won't sacrifice any permanents (they're phased out), but will still discard a card.
@@papalatte9525 No. Protection from everything prevents the protected thing from taking damage from anything. But proliferate could add poison counters to a player who had already been poisoned (it doesn't target, attach to, damage, or change the life total of that player).
Addendum: You cast Teferi's Protection, play a Forest for the turn, cast a Birds of Paradise, then pass. On my turn, I cast Smallpox. You will not lose any life, but you will sacrifice your Forest and Bird (as your other lands and creatures are phased out), and you will discard a card. In other words, the player is very much *not* gone from the game.
I built Pako & Haldon after watching this as an instant and sorcery copy theme with a bunch of top deck manipulation for choosing what spells I get to cast as well as choosing whether or not Pako gets buffed or I cast more creatures. Super fun deck and being in Temur colors, it rarely runs out of gas. Thanks for the inspiration, Jimmy.
He could've at least targeted Haldan and prevent Jimmy to cast the path instead of Dakkon, it was not a big threat to him at the moment. Strange choices here.
@@mrknarf4438 I don't think you get rid of removal by eating it, unless it's inevitable that it will be pointed at you. If he'd have waited a turn, that Path might have hit Dakkon for him, which also would have gotten rid of Teferi's Protection

@@deanm8408 Mystical Tutor was in the Jace spellbook which was 20 bucks for the whole thing or something like that. The card was a lot cheaper when that got released.
