What would be considered a "higher part number" for the CCM? Which number would be higher than the one you mentioned. Would it be the first digit that changes?
Its the letters at the end. Truthfully i dont know exactly what makes it a higher rev. However i do know that 8K0907064CQ and 8K0 907 064 DQ does work.
@@danpolniak Wow thanks for the quick response man. I bought the harness from you along time ago to do the conversion. Guess I just gotta talk to Audi to see if they'll code a "new" CCM for me.
I recently bought a S5 2013 with this RS5 Wing put on it like 3-4years ago. The wing works perfectly by itself (opening and closing by itself depending on speed) but my button doesn’t work. I don’t know if it ever has worked or how I can fix it. What would you suggest me to look at in order to get the button working? Thanks! Nice video!
Its most likely either the button, wiring or the spoiler module. The button has two wires running from the button to the module. Module is located in the trunk on the right side. I think the first thing would be to check that the wiring is actually running from the switch to the module. And make sure theres continuity in the wires. If that looks ok. Then i would remove the button and find the two wires running to the module and touch them together, that will simulate the button being pressed. If thats still not working then its probably the spoiler module. You can message me directly on facebook if you want. Facebook.com/eurodan07
@@danpolniak Oh okay I understand, I need to disassemble my trunk already soon (as I want to get an aftermarket rear camera), then I can check for that wire for the button. And I’ll check out bottom side of the button aswell. Thanks 👍

hello. your video, it has helped me a lot to install my rs5 spoiler. but it doesn't work well for me. it does not open and close on the road. because I can't know what codes I have to put on channel 17 as many forums indicate. can you help me please. Cheers!
Im not sure. Thats where their numbering gets confusing. Best way to check is try adjusting the value in this video. If it always you to do so then you have the right module. Otherwise it wont work.
@danpolniak I have been trying to figure this out. What I've come up with is the motor is a stepper motor and needs a controller. I watched your other video where you had to program the motor to stop at a certain point because it wouldn't close all the way. Getting it to stop at a certain point is what I'm trying to figure out without the pcm bcm and spoiler controller from audi
@@lafayettemathis2977 ya trying to get this all to work with the wing module and the bcm in my opinion would be a pain and not worth it. I dont know the details but it looks like the bcm has some kind of control with the wing module. It either stores some settings or oasses them.in to the wing module. The motor is a stepper motor. The easiest way would be to simply have a swotch that provides 12v volts and that will open it. Then reverse the polarity and that will close it. That would be the easiest way. But it would be a manual way. If you want to automate it then you would need a custom controller that will count the number of pulses and will then auto open and close it. The rs5 wing also open automatically at 76mph and closes automaticly at 50mph. So then you would need to tap into the canbus to get the cars current speed. It really depends what you want out of it in the end and how much knowledge you have about electronics.
