On the roll races, it looks like the Kia transmission was slow, or the turbo had some lag, or the type of tuning was a bit off, however; every single time towards the finish line, it was coming back with a vengeance. A car that did not get a lot of respect, showing that it has earned it!
On a roll, the Audis were accelerating before the cones, not following the instructions.
Anyone still throwing shade on the Stinger's name needs to wake up. That thing is an absolute madman with a proper tune.
Also Sam can you include trap speeds? You already have the info might as well add it
So sad to see the stinger get discontinued, Kia really made something special
The car with the most mods won. Who knew! Great vid, thanks Sam.
Hellz yeah 👊🏽👊🏽 love this content
The Kia flies. But something is off with that Rs5.
Yep my bud does high 10’s stage 1
Something isn’t right about the stinger. What was the DA ? That set up should have been low 11s. My jb4 map6 car did the 1/4 in 11.4 3.3 0-60 lol
It was not a cool day and wind was not helping. I had done many runs before that take. Car was hot, track was unprepped and bumpy. My best is 11.1, but usually run 11.2-.3 at 122-124mph.
@@armofiron7435 that makes a lot more sense for sure.
@@armofiron7435 pure testament to Sam keeping things real here. Thank you for the insights on the results.
@@armofiron7435 how come you did lose all the roll races ?
@dj1nnie Very difficult to align 3 cars at the same speed and to all hit the gas at the same time. On the first roll, the S5 was way behind and started to accelerate before the cone to line up but at the cones, he was at 80km/h and I was at 50km/h... like instructed. On the 2nd race, the RS5 jumped and started to accelerate before the cones. 1/4 mile doesn't lie as we were all all wheel drive cars and started fairly.
Stinger owner here, from Quebec as well. Lap3 ECU 2.5/TCU 2.0 + Stage 4 Meth Injection, Injen intakes, Jun BL secondaries + catback, UP intercooler w/charge pipe, and more. I can confirm the near-3-second drags are very achievable with launch control, and the world record is 2.8 if I'm not mistaken. It's such a great car because even with all the mods, it's still cheaper than a stock S5 Sportback (it costs about 25k CAD$ + tax more) -- I know, I almost bought that one instead. Something to think about when comparing all these cars. Best decision I've made car-wise.
Love how the KIA is killin a $100,000 RS5
Stinger's rims are 37lbs lol. RPF1's are a must. Another great video Sam!
Yo do you know the weight of the scorpion edition wheels? I can't find a source for their weight anywhere!
I mean, they're 19's (and only 34lbs, but who's counting on stock wheels for a fat car). RPF1 only goes up to 18
@@viru52000 what are you trying to say? Don't worry about weight reduction bc the stinger is a sport back and heavy? My guy you are on a RUclips video of 3 modified street cars racing.
@@mtDNA_Refresh because it's not like the other vehicles are running super lightweight wheels either. Your point is moot in the grand scheme.
A lighter wheel setup is in my plans for next year
Sam coming through with another 🔥 video
2019 Kia Stinger owner. Proud to see how incredible this beast Stinger can be.
I got my jaw dropped😮
I owned a Stinger GT2 for 3 years and from a dig it would upset a lot of ppl. But from a roll theres just not enough power.
Stinger is forever underrated
Rs5 isn't tuned right
Stinger/G70 is such an underatted platform and gets so much hate for being(it's a KIA)🥴. KIA would've taken the rolls with a little more leg room too.
True car enthusiasts doesn’t hate it! Only the uneducated one with no cars/video game racers/truck drivers. Period l! There’s plenty real enthusiasts switched to Kia from popular platforms! Most haters you see usually from village with very limited internet
The numbers are off
Bring back the Tuned TTRS vs the RS5 & Stinger
I’ve got Stinger as well and I love it but against the Rs5 the Stinger has no hope 😆. Anyway, S5 vs Stinger would be interesting!
We shall see
It was like 2-3 🚌 🤭🤭
@@SamCarLegion well you got me 😂 it was unexpected to see Stinger winning the digs! Anyway great race!
@@avis1978 😆 proud to own a Stinger! Full of surprises
If all cars were stock it would be RS3>Stinger GT>S3
Stinger is very impressive with these light mods.
i think we call all agree that the stinger is best looking car here. and completely destroys in performance
I disagree. I don’t hate the stinger but to me it looks ugly and cheap. The Audis look luxurious and nice
There's something wrong with that RS5 or the driver. I've owned a 2019 RS5 Sportback (same as in this video) and now a 2022 RS5 Sportback. I also live in the same area as these races take place. Both my RS5s have run far better times and they are STOCK! No slicks, no prepped surfaces. Something was obviously not right in this race. Great race though, and shows all the cars have great tuning potential!
I was going to say the same. The RS5 runs 3.6 0-60 from the factory, how is it even running slower with a tune? They must have not been launching correctly.
Mine with a 91oct file custom map does 11.3 😂😂 that rs5 owner is not launching good or is lying about being tuned.
All over these Euro's on youtube have RS5's getting stomped by everything. Yet I stomp on everything in my stage 1 RS5 these videos are silly and there has to be some financial motivation/sponsorship behind the scenes, the times they are showing make no sense.
Where’s the JB4 on that stinger ??
Not too sure that RS5 driver knows what they’re doing haha. The numbers put up were sub stock..
Can you please do lexus is 500 vs infiniti q50 or q60
Coming soon
Amazing premier.
RS5 is running stock times...
for sure and there isn't even a stage 2 from the big tuning houses for the rs5, stage 1 e85 makes more power and runs in the 10s.
Littérale my bud hit high 10’s with stage 1
@@robp696euro charged stage 2 93 and stage 1 are in the 10´s
IE has a stage 2 and 034 is releasing one soon..
WOW!! That Stinger is a fkn beast!!
12.1 tuned rs5 is driver bad or car tune is bad my bud hits high 10’s we got a problem here
My stg 1 B8.5 S5 runs 12.1's on 93. Ain't no way a tuned B9 RS5 running 12.1's
Needs a intercooler
Put the audi on stage 3 and see what happens👿
Stock rs5 times here
Something has to wrong with RS5
KIA STINGER GT ❤️ 😊 Power
As a Stinger owner, I approve this video.
Next match up you do you should put that tunned stinger against an m340 xdrive
Bro, no way that tuned RS5 got gapped like that. It’s not the car, it’s the driver.
wonder why no one in roll races uses the cruise control to match up the speeds ?
Both roll races the cars started ahead of the stinger a whole car yet it was reeling them back in. Guys need to learn to roll race and line them up better stinger would've won.
I feel like the stinger driver was in the wrong gear for the rolls….it pulled hard from a dig and a dig isn’t their forte.
Rs5 doing a 12.1 1/4? Those are stock rs3 numbers . Rs3 are faster then rs5s?
Something ain't adding up. Stock RS5's run 3.5 - 3.6 sec 0 - 60. How does a tuned RS5 manage 4 ?
I'm here representing for the kia stinger.....22 gt1 jb4 tuned afe intakes Sway bars led snorkels to name a few
Yesss need to see that Stinger again
How are they not lined up every roll race
I love this❤ love the mod lists
what wheels are on that rs5?
What the hell... the S5 sounded terrible! Great video Same!
Thanks bud.

Cause others will all loose lol
Strip 400lbs from the stinger hmmm sounds like 10.8 1/4😈
Made all the kia owners very proud.
No question which one sounds best.
Own a 2018 gt stinger, love it. Mods coming end of year, lap3 500whp kit ❤
