Masterclass and it was very informative and straightforward. Truly enjoyed the no-nonsense approach.

Same thank you for not wasting my time with dumb jokes, saying the same s*** in a different way, and just panning over the car.

Nice vid. You might want to mention that all of this applies to the Genesis G70 since it’s a twin of the Stinger. That’s what I have. The all mighty algorithm might send a few more clicks your way.

T - Thanks for the feedback. We will likely be coming out with a similar vid for the G70, but for now, this one will do!

2022-2023 Stingers ditched the 2.0 and gained the much better 2.5 Turbo Smartstream motor. You could skip the FMIC upgrade if you're running CPI/WMI which most have to run to hit 490-510whp. The evaporative cooling with the CPI/WMI eliminates the heat soak issue associated with the OEM FMIC. If you don't run CPI/WMI, replacing the FMIC starts to make sense. Otherwise, most owners who run CPI/WMI won't bother spending the money unless they want the improved appearance on the front end. Also, many simply run CPI/WMI for the intake valve cleaning it provides under WOT. No mention of installing an OCC is an oversight since these cars fall victim to carbon buildup on the intake valves since it doesn't have both GDi and MPFI injection systems, whereas the 2.5T Smartstream motor does.

I just added a Race chip, ditched the stock spark plugs replacing them with H&K racing plugs pumped it up to 420. It is already very scary in sport mode, dare not to try sport plus

Just purchased a 2023 gt2 AWD, want to get a jb4 but the warranty. Fear of losing my warranty and something going wrong

U - Completely understood. We've seen people use JB4's under warranty. However, it may be better to be safe!

Stock air intakes on stinger ARE true cold air intakes. All these aftermarket fancy intakes, that might look good are sucking hot air from engine compartment. Backpressure on stinger comes from primary dp. Replace those and start watching your oil coming out of exhaust. Stinger turbos need some backpressure for proper operation.

High flow cats on primaries increases flow while retaining some backpressure. 400 cell NGT dps seem to work very well for this platform. Then you can run catless secondaries with no issues

A - We disagree with the intakes. While tuned, there is a noticeable difference.

Strange I have been running on IMR DP's for nearly a year with zero smoke or oil from exhuast... Stinger doesnt make turbos either, they are made by honeywell/garret. They do not need backpressure and the smoking is from other issues or bad/improper PCV setup.
