Bodycam: Cop Jumps into Stolen Jeep as Alleged Thief Hits the Gas and Tries to Flee

- Bodycam footage shows the moment an alleged Jeep thief tries to flee Michigan police during a traffic stop on June 12. Authorities said 25-year-old Donald Brezzell allegedly started the car and hit the gas as an officer tried pulling him out of the driver’s seat. When Brezzell began to accelerate, the officer pulled himself into the vehicle to avoid being dragged for nearly half a mile. The Ferndale Police Department said officers arrested Brezzell after he stopped the vehicle in a Kroger supermarket parking lot. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the wild ride.

“Alleged Thief” My guy, we all just watched him steal a cop.
Didn't we just?... the cop will get a few drinks on that story.

Alleged cop. Did you verify it? No.

This dude has the audacity to say, “I don’t feel safe.” When he’s the one who decided to take off with the car while an officer was still hanging onto him. Unbelievable.
He learned to say that crap to cops at church
When the melanin be kickin in
Culture of enetitlement.
He doesn't feel safe but have the balls to steal someone's car?
We have to realize that when you deal with ignorant people you're always going to get a bad result
The intellect involved in deciding that fleeing is the best option is mind boggling and takes serious ineptitude to decide that.
Low IQ. Nuff said.
it’s possible. don’t ask how i know lol
Yeah and the lack of intellect to dive into a fleeing vehicle.
@@ChiTownGuerrilla i think you need to understand the difference between value of own life and intellect jumping into the car is genus (quick fix) but not safe and if thats how intelligence is then why aren't shut-in's the smartest people alive, with no danger to safety?
@@ChiTownGuerrilla actually, that Jeep could do a lot of damage if they were to have let him flee and pursued. To someone in the Kroger’s parking lot, someone driving their vehicle on the road, or someone just walking on the sidewalk. The officer decided to put his life on the line to make sure that didn’t happen. Plus the patience these officers showed. Not one pulled their firearms on him. Even after the POS took the cop for a ride. Nor did they even say they were going to shoot him. They only threatened to taser him, AFTER they got him to stop the vehicle and he still put up a struggle. 100% professionalism.
"I don't feel safe." Dude, you are not SUPPOSED to feel safe when driving a stolen vehicle and driving off with a cop trying to lawfully restrain you! This dude is completely missing the parts of the brain that govern ethics and morality. If left free he will only victimize and harm others around him without empathy or remorse.
If he acts like this around police, imagine what he’ll do to you.

The fact the cop didnt propel this man via lead to another dimension is beyond me.
I’m so sick of hearing I don’t feel safe or I can’t breathe. It’s ridiculous how these people get away with that. I feel so sorry for police officers in today’s world they whisper light every day for us.
When the cop said "You dont think I was in fear for my life?" it gave me chills. These civil rights advocates and self-proclaimed law professionals who always take the criminals side no matter what should think about that.

Early reports are in. Family members close with the suspect have stated he was in fact a good boy, quote "didn't do nothing wrong".
He is probably at home after his lawyer files a frivolous law suit and wins because that's how it works in Democrat ran cities.
He had some struggles, demons, etc. But he was starting to think about maybe getting his life together.

I'll never understand why someone would speed in a stolen car . Or even drive in a stolen vehicle for over an entire month knowing that u pass even one cop that the tags are automatically scanned & come back stolen.
