Sounds about right considering how her daughter behaved and the poor choices she made. She ruined peoples lives. Maybe if her mom was more concerned with how her daughter acted prior to daughter killing others, she wouldn’t now feel a need to be “concerned” with how her daughter is viewed by others. Well, technically, her mother's speech was not really displaying any behavior, other than trauma, and sadness. It's a mothers job to protect their child. She was responding in a traumatic way, and you could tell, in her speech, that she was extremely nervous, because she kept stating "okay" a lot of the times. I give her credit to stand in front of the judge and the families and to do what she had to do as a mother. Her mother probably assumed what was to come for her daughters sentencing, but she still tried anyways. So I respect her mother for doing that.

But that does not mean she will get out in 15 years. It means , she will have the opportunity to stand in front of the court and judges and they could very well deny her.
