- This is my 2012 Lexus RX 350 with 148K miles on it. I bought it back in 2020 with 127K miles on it. I have been driving since then with no issues at all other than routine maintenance.
Currently my daily car for commute and entertainment car. The interior quality is amazing. Everything works as it should. The cabin is super quiet, no rattles or other noises. Not much tear & wear. Only a few issues due to the previous owner using it harsh. These cars last forever. It has a bulletproof Toyota V6 2GR-FE engine with 270 Horsepower. Overall, super reliable and affordable SUV.

Bought a 2010 RX350 AWD last month with 130k miles for 7k. I am super happy with it.
wow that’s a pretty good deal!
I’m thinking of getting one myself was there anything wrong with the car when you picked it up?
@@celsovera91 Nope the car had just passed a inspection when i bought it. Going to replace all 4 shocks later this spring otherwise no issues.
@@Shabbe02toyota and lexus parts are the interchangeable right? I’m assuming that KYB shocks (OEM toyota) would be compatible?
Got my 2012 RX350 awd with 39,911mi, 100% dealer serviced, new Michelin Tires, oil changed, new state inspection!! Near mint condition! $10k cash
$10K that's a phenomenal deal!
@@KERPALSINGH it was my father's, got the family discount... 👍
@@SlyGuy2000 Ok good I felt ripped off for a second lol.
Just got one yesterday!
What year is it?
I am currently considering this vehicle.. My wife's current daily is a 2013 Acura RDX. These two vehicles are quite similar, however, I think most would find the Lexus is a little more classy on the interior. The Acura 3.5 has a little bit higher mpg, due to the active displacement management, which the Lexus does not have. However, the RDX calls for premium fuel which adds cost to operation. Also the RDX has a timing belt that will need serviced every 60-100k, where the Toyota - sorry, Lexus has a timing chain (which should be practically service free with proper oil change intervals). Another costly maintenance item with both is the "unservicable" driveshafts, meaning, when the cv/u joints go bad you can't just change the u joint it self... you have to buy the whole driveshaft assembly - factory pricing on these are about $1500. Even though I am in the snow belt of western NY I am also probably going to go 2wd versions moving forward. Both of these are offered in front wheel drive versions. That means the weight is over the front wheels and are still very competent in light snow. The real danger in our area is not getting stuck but steering and stopping in really slick conditions... Neither of which awd helps you with. There is also a fuel savings by going only FWD. Just thought I'd offer my 2 cents. But those who know... This is one of the best vehicles on the road!
Thanks. Great insight! I love the fact that I don’t have to put premium gas in my RX considering how expensive the gas is recently!
The Lexus IS more reliable, the Acura’s have a weak transmission.
Acura transmission is fine IF people do the 30k mile service... it's rarely done and unfortunately I think few dealers recommend it (even though it's in the manual) because they are looking for the $$ of a transmission failure. Just do the service for crying out loud!
In 2012 my mom had one for only 3 months before someone ran a red light and hit her, thank goodness she was okay but car was totaled. It really shows how much damage these vehicles will take to protect the passengers!
Glad that she was okay!!
I got a copy of this car, but mine is a hybrid. I had a 2010 and the gas mileage sucked, so I sold it and bought a 2015 hybrid, wasn't easy to find, but you will love the gas savings on a hybrid and u don't have to plug it, takes gas.
I have been thinking about the same thing - considering how expensive gas is nowadays. At what mileage did you buy your hybrid one?
@@enesthemenace06 130k and I put roughly 6ok miles, paid 15k for it, I get around 30 miles a gal.
30 mpg is literally amazing
I really don't like the gas mileage on this one so I consider getting RX 450h.
And 148k miles is nothing. Most of the Europe drive German cars with 200k+😅 And even then the mileage has been compromised on many on them so the reality is 250-300k and more.
I have BMW 320d, 2005 with 215k miles on it. Been driving it for 6 years. I bought it for around $3200 and I have put in like $2500+ or you can say almost a worth of the car. 😅😅
Good idea to look for an RX450h! I am kind of regretting not doing that instead haha. I agreed but roads in Europe are much better than the US so I think cars hold up better there. Also cheaper to maintain.
Just bought one in the crazy market for 20k 😩
How many miles on it?
102,000
I got a 2011 two years ago for $21k but it only had 40 k miles. I’m at 56k now and it’s been flawless.
Looks and sounds great ! I would like to find one around this price and mileage
I’m sure with the used car prices decreasing a bit, at least in the US, you can find a nice one.
Bro! Where did you get those frames?! Are they prescription glasses? I see a tint in them. Please let me know. I’m glasses shopping and they are absolutely beautiful frames. Thank you!
Hahaha thansk! I got them on Amazon. They’re Persol glasses for like $120 and had my local optic put prescription glasses on it.
Hey, didn't you consider to buy Rav4 2016-2017 instead? Is has lower MPG. Just want ot know your thoughts
Rav4’s are great too! But I think they are a bit smaller in width and not as comfortable as an RX. But I agreed, it would be way better on gas!
Bought before the prices skyrocketed
Same! I bought it back in September 2020 and I think that was about time that the used car prices skyrocketed.
