Many GM Modules have COMM going in and COMM going out, this is a great system to use as you can bypass a module by shorting the input to the output and remove the module from the circuit but keep the overall circuit intact in an attempt to pull out a bad module to clean up the scope waveform. This job needs a different schematic to locate the actual other set of COMM pins. As for underrated, I have complained about repeated sentences, but the overall explanation of pin numbers, wire colors, and several other explanations given in your videos is going to put your channel ahead of the top diagnosticians since the new AI is going to pick up on your case study and catch more of what is needed to diagnose by an AI, most of the other channels will have to play catch up when it comes to fixing cars based on the Transcript of all the YT videos, this channel is ON TOP right now for sure in that Arena, cheers.
It's my first time to subscribe someone channel, Good verbal communication, I am french speaker and I understand your words and explanation. You 're doing very well your job
Hi, great content, perfectly done. Do you have a recommendation on where to buy a new or used TCM for the same truck model you worked on this video? 2006 Chevy Duramax 6.6L
Good video but why didn't the connector pin numbers match the drawing. Might have to be a good idea to use the electrical schematic to see what pins 26 and 27 are for or why they didnt match to the actual connector. Did the new TCM fix the trouble?
Deo, what is your procedure for testing module circuits? Did you have the bat neg lead lifted? I assume you had the positive bat lead connected. Any special reason for the light instead of a vom? Thanks
@DRDROP-fj4bo Testing the power wires and ground wires with a test light loads the circuits but using the DVOM doesn't, which can lead to misdiagnosis!!
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair if you look at 9:59 the list also shows a + data line at pin 6 with tan/wht, very strange! Maybe they got both the colors and pin locations wrong 🤔
He's too honest for some people so they under rate him....but u have my vote always. Best teacher

30:05 the list is wrong, looks like the tan + white wire's right above in pin 6 instead of 26 👍
