I went to my primary care physician complaining of pain on my right side. I thought that perhaps I’d had a stroke. I was assured that my symptoms did not present as a stroke. Then I thought maybe I had breast cancer. No problem there. My primary care doctor referred me to three specialists: a neurologist, an orthopedist and a physical therapist. I went to the neurologist first. After looking at the results of an MRI of the cervical spine, I was diagnosed age related arthritis of the cervical spine. I was given an Rx for physical therapy. I delayed scheduling the appointment. I had a nagging suspicion my diagnosis was incomplete. I stumbled across your channel when searching for joint pain. Looking at your artwork of the pectoral muscle area, exactly where I am experiencing the pain, I am so relieved. I’m a stomach and side sleeper. I’m going follow your suggestions for forming new habits. Thank you so much. 🥰🥰🥰😘

You are a life safer! The pain in my left arm/pec was so strong at times that I thought I could seriously have some kind of heart condition! Watching your videos helped me realize I just lifted weights wrong for some time and took away a LOT of anxiety and worry, thank you!
Glad to help. Yes, most people's thoughts tend to go straight to heart-related issues. Often it's a good idea to get a heart checkup, just to be sure and avoid stressing over it, but mostly arm pain comes from neck-related issues, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, or even carpal tunnel.
@@BodyFixExercises I did a check just to be sure, my heart is perfect :) Carpal tunnel was definitely part of it, and as you say in other vids, sleeping position. Changing that also helped quite a lot. Anyway merry xmas! Keep on the good work

I had to google myself and found a thoracic surgeon who knew exactly what this was.. My pain occurred after a fall and no scan even MRI can see this issue because the nerves are in the cartlige between ribs.. Hope you find a solution to your issue..

That door frame stretch iscEVRYTHING. I sleep on my left side and cant because thats the problem shoulder. Cheers from Boston!!!
I had a cervical disc fusion as a result of arm, neck, shoulder pain which did NOT cure the pain that I ONLY have while walking. I have found over the years that push ups, overhead presses and halo type of exercises (basically a shoulder, chest and arm strengthening routine) is the only thing that makes this pain go away while walking. No one has suggested that I have TOS though I wonder. Your test here definitely recalls the discomfort I have while walking.
I've been having pain and a lack of flexibility in my left shoulder and arm for a few months now. It was so bad that my arm hurt most times of the day and I had trouble sleeping on account of the pain, but these exercises have given me a lot of relief. I can slowly and carefully do all of them except for the wall angel. I can't get my left arm down on the mat because it hurts too much. I have to hold it about 30 degrees up off the mat. But, I'm planning on doing this exercise daily in the hope that I will grow more flexible each day. I'm also staying away from playing Candy Crush on my phone. I think that habit has contributed to my condition.
I think I might have this. I have numb tingly thumb and first finger on right side. Pain around shoulder blade. Pain increases down arm and more numbness especially in upright sitting, walking, driving. I get relief by looking down at chest, raising arm up behind head. Has been 2 weeks now.
Yeah, it sounds like TOS. If ex. 2&4 increase numbness, either do them gentler, or don't do those ones. You don't want numbness during the exercise. The exercise stretches those muscles (Scalenes and Pec minor) but if those muscles are tight, it can put pressure on the nerve. So, either do them gently, so there's no numbness, or only do the other exercises (that feel good).
Really helped also with releasing trigger points but i still do get pain in my arm when lifting weights especially the day After… what do i habe to do??
If you broke your elbow, you may have ended up with a shortened Pronator Teres due to scar tissue, giving you bit of Pronator Teres Syndrome. My Golfers Elbow video has a good exercise for that

I was diagnosed w/TOS several years ago. Dr at the time suggested I have my first rib removed. I declined. Because I’ve left it untreated for so long I’m Now Finding it’s increasingly difficult to relieve the intense numbness and pain in my hands, palms & arms. Effects my sleep waking me 4-5 times a night because the numbness is so intense and my daily life. It’s hard to use your hands when they are so numb and hurt so bad from the numbness. It’s my entire hand on both sides, my palms. When I first wake up it’s REAL bad, I used to be able to move around & the symptoms would subside some. Now I just can’t get it to subside no matter what I do. I can’t use my hands normally after waking up and for a large part of the morning. Have to stop whatever I’m doing because I’m unable to hold, grab to do much due to the pain & numbness
Numbness is serious if it becomes chronic. It means the nerve is being crushed and it can lead to permanent nerve damage. Weakness is even more serious. If you get overt weakness you need to see doctor asap
