At least OG Series s was king there between that and the launch ps5 that was unavailable outside of scalpers. With an external hard drive and an SSD card, my series x is sitting at 7TB. 68 games installed including call of duty and warzone 😂 my series x is an absolute unit

I currently use the 1TB model Xbox Series X. I am planning on getting the new Xbox Series X 2TB model months after launch. It's not because of the look of it. It's because I want more built-in storage.

Xbox and Sony do this every gen, then next year they will likely have "pro" models that last 1-2 years before Gen 10 hits and watch Gen 10 lowball us for memory again with 500gb, 1tb or PERHAPS a 2tb model when realistically smaller models should be 2tb and base models for both Xbox and PS should be 5tb.

They are not new consoles I don't see any upgraded GPU or GPU, just more storage space and color Swap. Call them special editions or different models of existing hardware.

Yeah, today's gaming industry needs to stop acting like 500gb and 1tb is acceptable for base storage models.
Series S should have been 2tb and Series X, and PS5 should both be 5tb base with options of 1tb, 2tb and 4tb expansion cards.
The mid gen models should up to 8tb to make them more worthwhile.

Microsoft said here you can get this 1tb robot white series s when we had previously released a black model with 1tb of storage but your out of luck if you wanted a white series x with a disc drive
