Steve, that is a sharp looking Rooster Cruiser you have there! I like the way your shop puts out these little one of a kind large cars. I know your trying to sale them, but I believe you go above and beyond with each video and sale you make. Keep up the good work. God bless.
Awesome truck Steve. If memory serves me right that same truck came down the line my last week working for Peterbilt at the plant on final line. It`s nice seeing what some of them look like once they have been delivered and fitted out prior to customer delivery.... FYI... Dont let the safety guy see you shutting that hood before giving the "its coming down " signal and trapping some poor soul from Air & Electric inside. lol
I've got to say, this wasn't my favorite color when I first saw it on your Facebook page, but I drove by your place Sunday and saw it sitting out front....... WOW.... the pictures and video doesn't do it justice! Beautiful color.
You seem to be an honest guy tells it like it is and have some of the best trucks I've seen around too bad I've retired or I guarantee I'll be getting one off of you enjoy your video still though.
Steve, Beautfiul truck ! But a few questions. 1 - Cost of this unit 2 - why no checkerd deck plate 3 - why no side steps ? Thanks ! Love the way you build trucks !
Thank you Tyler, great questions. Asking $169,500 just as you see it. No deck plate or steps to really show off that long green frame. Without anything mounted to the rails it really exaggerates how long it is.
Hello from Russia! Very cool Truck, It is a pity that we do not have a Peterbilt factory in Russia, America and Russia have a friendship for ever, there is no war and dirty politics. Peace to the world! )))
"I like it a lot" (Lloyd, Dumb&Dumber) only question is... can you still have a fridge option in those flat top sleepers on the left as your looking forward out of sleeper? And still have the cupboards draws etc on your right side?
Smooth ride . Now I can see why you want a short truck to do faster u turns but when you are O O you want what's right for you not others it's your bread maker cheers from NC
Many critics i see. Color is nice not my fav but nice. Look's like a car inside. Lots of gages useful in trucking i suppose. Features & Benefit's Sell the Sizzle Good sales book by J Wheeler kinda old however useful in all sales demonstrations. Best Regards, Mark
Wow, a reply, actually, I'm ignorant here, obviously with a 2 axle vehicle the wheelbase is measured from center to center of axles right? So with something like this Peterbilt with 3 axles, where is the measurement taken? I would guess the further, rear axle to cover the fullest length; I could Google it I suppose. Thanks, great videos and we all learn something every time!
Harley04 it’s measured to the center of the furthest back drive axle. So, say he added a 3rd axle tag on the back, WB would be the same, but length would change
Hey steve, not a queston to this video but what are your thoughts/opinions on the no lube 5th wheel plates? like the ones that have the teflon padding on them, or whatever they are. Do customers find them better than the normal 5th wheels or are they finding thats its not a good investment and having problems with them?
The color, not a fan. You like this color? My trust in your honesty just lost a point. Keep your integrity. Don't try and sell me poison ivy by trying to convince me it will look nice on the counter.
Just another great truck this one is a work of art
thanks
I wish I could get one. This truck is making my mouth water it is so fine. If she was mine I would name her Pine Power......
Great name
Hauling "real heavy" = "hauling really heavy". Maybe check out what adverbs are Steve!
This may surprise you, a little, but my college major was not English....

Thanks Rodney, that means alot....
The color on this is out of control-- looks like a cross between two of my favorite Porsche paint colors: Ocean Jade Metallic and Ice Green Metallic
just got another one in this combo. I picked them out and I love it Thank you for the compliment
Can you say "eh" more often? It's really entertaining!
eh?

I've got to say, this wasn't my favorite color when I first saw it on your Facebook page, but I drove by your place Sunday and saw it sitting out front....... WOW.... the pictures and video doesn't do it justice! Beautiful color.

I've finally found a color that really turns my head!

The the mirrors "mirs" or "mirrors". You seem to be saying "mirs"?
Man, you really were paying attention. Just so you know, there will not be a test on this....
I need this truck in my life. Awesome
I agree
Not bad last one I bought was 117 in 1990
You seem to be an honest guy tells it like it is and have some of the best trucks I've seen around too bad I've retired or I guarantee I'll be getting one off of you enjoy your video still though.

Mr. Steve this one is to nice
Sweet wheelbase. Very "old school" but modern (actually a future truck) 2018. Nice spec's. Great job!
Thanks so much
Dear Santa...
Yep
Nice colour combo Steve. Go back to the chrome trim for the running lights, sets them off in my opinion.
Thanks, I will keep that in mind
And I say no! But that’s personal choice;)
Very nice Steve I like the color combo on this.
Thanks Lou, very happy how it turned out

Hello from Russia! Very cool Truck, It is a pity that we do not have a Peterbilt factory in Russia, America and Russia have a friendship for ever, there is no war and dirty politics. Peace to the world! )))
Nice ride.
one of my favorites

Doesn't most kw and petes that come from factory at 290 inches or longer come factory with double framed???
3/4 insert
Very nice Steve.
Thanks Sam
What’s the price on a truck like this today
Roughly 160-165
I'm sure this is a stupid question but, what's the point of stretching them out with a long wheelbase?
Cool factor, ride, overhang on the front of the trailer, etc
They actually ride better with a longer frame.
Smooth ride . Now I can see why you want a short truck to do faster u turns but when you are O O you want what's right for you not others it's your bread maker cheers from NC
Another good one steve
Thanks Julian

What's the stamped weight on these 300 wb flat tops?
Wow, might as well say 25 feet wheelbase !!!
true
Wow, a reply, actually, I'm ignorant here, obviously with a 2 axle vehicle the wheelbase is measured from center to center of axles right? Results and experiences have been very good. Many repeat buyers of the no-lube

*fist bump*
Can i have that nice 389 PETERBILT!!
oh yeah
turning radious sucks on peterbuilts in my experience
Sorry to hear that
359s really did compared to 379s
Maybe you could spec one with the wide steer axle for a better turning radius?

Wow, what a nice way to call me a liar. John, if you ever need advice building or help purchasing a Peterbilt, I'm not your guy.....
Thanks Clutch
I never said you had to agree
Super turbo, sounds like you speak from expirence.
Clutch, I never said the color made him less honest. Did you even read my post or you just like to make it up as you go.
