It definitely has its issues , I drove them in the military and now have the civilian version.....I love mine
No vehicle is perfect though.
I like my h2
That's good
Hey AJ. Damn I can only imagine the labor without cracking any plastics. Great points on the resell quality of older vehicles. Very true. This just confirms to viewers that your shop is legit. Are you close to Edmonton? I mentioned you to my friends out there when they need audio work done. Future plans to visit Canada hopefully this year we'll see.
thizzface I'm in Vancouver BC. Tell your friends to go to Visions Electronics, the South Edmonton bay has awesome installers.
AnthonyJ350 how much do you charge to do this ?
It was a time consuming job, but the outcome is great! Sadly it's true what you said about the modularity in the cars. My Bmw has one of those all-in-one consoles, where the Hvac, radio, navigation, radar, night vision and backup camera is one unit. It's not possible to change any of it, I can't really put in an after market radio or navigation in. The only thing what I really care about is music and I'm lucky enough to have both a USB port and a socket for MicroSD card, right under the armrest. As far as Navi updates go, for my particular model it should be supported up until 2022. After that I will just slap my phone onto a holder and use that :DD
Beni Ya they want to build it so you buy another car eventually and just make car payments for life. At least that's how I feel the way they are building them.
Integrated systems 🚫😝 their way of showing you this 🖕for 💲
You guys do an awesome job. Thanks for the video.
Also, just wondering, what was the price of that install?
Thank you! Labour was roughly about $1200.
New to 2003 HUMMER H2. Good Condition. Yet a few thing need repairs. To me this is a 5’s VIDEO add to HUMMER H2. File. GMC still had cabin lights for them to install was pricey. I said , Ok but let me order LEDS , they look better , Also I’m like to replace bolts & screws with Stainless and a little top rust paint on . Looking for any & All GOOD INFORMATION thats Trustable . So reading a lot of comments.
Thanks for watching
Hello there, great video! Question, did you have to bypass the factory alarm with a module? I also had the same issue with the remote starter since I did not connect the 2nd ignition wire....
I disarm the factory security through programming when it remote starts. Second ignition is a must. I find second accessory is optional.
@@AnthonyJ350 Thanks for your kind reply. Any basic advice on how to go about disarming the alarm?
@@hansbrezzi9985 I believe it's done through data through the remote starter or security system.
I did the exact same job yesterday. I actually repainted the dash and took out one of those cig sockets and replaced it with a USB/Aux port, there's like no room all behind the radio lol.
Uriel Maldonado I know!!! I don't understand why there's no space. The day after we did a 2009 F150 so much space lol.
Question, which module did you use to retain OnStar? And how did you set it up?
AnthonyJ350 this customer actually asked me to remove the onstar module. I made a pocket and put that in its place. For chimes and steering controls I used the rp5-gm11
AnthonyJ350 I cut the top left supporting plastic bracket a little bit so I could tuck the module to the left, it worked out.
Uriel Maldonado Which setting do you pick when On star engages? Head unit off or cut the wire and mute?
where are you located I want the same upgrades to my 2007 H2.
I'm in Canada but no longer work on public vehicles. I just work on them for video content now.
I like my h2.....
That's good
What kit did u use to install the head unit?
Metra
I heard the H3's are pretty good
Dried Marmot They're a lot smaller and lighter. I think there was one model that might have come with the 5.3 V8.
Is there a device to have hands free phone on a 2007 Hummer H2??
Yup, change the head unit
@@AnthonyJ350 Can you be more specific . Would a 2008 + radio fit and keep the Hummer look ? do not want aftermarket item . I was told they did not have Bluetooth till 2008+is that correct?
@@mind444 You'd have to look into it, because their might be an external mic as well.
Where are you located and how much do you charge to do the same thing you just did to this h2.i live in dallas tx
I'm a little far from you. I'm in Vancouver British Columbia Canada.
Wow I have a buddy that lives in Windsor canada
Were you ever able to find out where you could have this done at? I also live in Texas... If you have found a place can you please let me know!

@@AnthonyJ350 How much would this project typically cost?
T taps ahhhhg
T-taps bad
1st 4 minutes was you complaining and dislikes of the H2. I really like the H2 as I have 3. Other than all the things you don't like, thanks for the video.
At 0:30 I said I like them. I was discussing why a lot of other people don't like them. Were you listening to the whole video?
It's a suburban with a hummer looking body and is pretty pointless
Jason Congdon Full time 4WD, a rear locker and decent ground clearance. Can't be THAT useless can it?
the gearing was wrong for off roading and the clearance was that of your average suburban it was a fad vehicle that most of themwere using for crawling over speed bumps at schools and malls the h3 though was actually built for off road but the fad wore off by then
@@AnthonyJ350 I like mine.... if I had a suburban of the same year I'm sure no one would ask to buy it , I'm always getting offers.
