Smaller bezels but maintaining the design is a good thing to implement. I need bigger screen for media content and still maintaining the size of my xz1. Hopefully they change it next year.
Glad to see no pixelpeeper nonsens. Others act as if photos are taken to watch pixels only, and cameras are for lowlight cavedwelling only. This cam makes great shots, has superb extra feats, and even lowlight look great.
Even with pixelpeepig, the XZ1 does really well. I have the XZ Premium with the same camera and it is one of the best, especially in details and colors.
Liel Bouskila I've found it can struggle with dynamic range at times. Whereas an older iPhone manages to make a better "picture" if subjects are darker than sky. Other times it looks better to not try and squash the dynamic range into an image format, but I would like if they had an option
Yeah the overheating is an issue most certainly, but right now I can deal with it, because I'm using it as secondary phone to slowly make a switch to Android from iOS as my main phone. Meaning, finding replacements for apps, getting used to it, finding what I value in Android hardware most and then eventually diving in for a flagship device. I got my X for quite cheap (under 130 euros) and I must say it's the perfect phone to fall in love with Sony's idea of Android, there's really not that much that'd I'd wish for them to solve differently. One such thing would be to ship them with Android Messages instead of the default SMS app. Getting all those phone RCS ready. :)
its not bad at all at low light.it seems bad because the auto mode doesent lower the shutter speed too much to get light so people wont get shaky photos.on a tripod or if you hold it steady you can go on manual and lower the shutter speed which will give you incredible low light shots. if you compare this phones low light capabilities on a tripod to the other flaghships sony beats every other phone with a lot more detail on every shot.you just need to know that so you can go on manual if you want really good low light photos and you are pacient enough to hold the phone still which some people are not thats why sony decides to gives less detailed low light photos on auto because people dont know or care to hold their phone still.

I agree low light photos on sony look bad because auto mode increases the ISO too much gives it too much noise. however, if sony had put optical image stabilizaiton this wouldn't be an issue because it'd be easier to hold your phone steady.

The only thing that Sony still needs to implement is Apple's Live Photos. As in what Google delivers on the Pixel 2, just WITH SOUND as well... And if we could get a standardized format for that, that'd be amazing, so it'd be easier to share, backup and organize. Having two separate files that are merely kept together by specific software is mediocre.
that already exists on the Z1 compact (2014). It's called "Sound Photo". In fact, there is a suite of effects available for the camera: Timeshift Burst (awesome feature - now included in the 11-frames shot) ; time lapse ; background defocus ; info-eye and several others.

Even custom car addons to save serious cash and create professional results. Tripped out looking rocker panels, front grills, light housings, interior components, even robotics or science experiments. Have a ultra efficient motor design that needs to be further developed. #RedesignEverything

It does a lot better in low light if you can stabilise it via tripod or resting it on something :)

That was just changing the focus distance from far objects to near objects in the frame

yea we can just. Use manual mode and adjust focus to your subject, background will get blurred .
