    no going to complain about how the rebuild area isnt as clean and prestige like many shops in the west or east
    BUT....if i was stranded and had an engine failure and these guys are around i would let them rebuild my engine for the fraction cost of what other "professional shops " would charge to be honest
    but the main reason why they dont cost alot is no around them can afford a higher price for the rebuild

  • @joesharp5602
    @joesharp5602 Год назад +2

    This is by far the best Pakistani engine rebuild I have seen. The attention to detail and the good assembly practices were excellent. I do however wish they would invest in a torque wrench as proper and even torque is so important for these engines. Other than that, this engine should be a good runner... With respect... Joe

    • @Bannimann2
      @Bannimann2 Год назад

      Not much use for a torque wrench if they don't know how to use AND take care of it. You can't throw a torque wrench on the ground when you're done using it, then you'll have to recalibrate it. It's a delicate piece of equipment.

      You can get away with a lot on an old cast iron truck engine but they're still gambling with their head gaskets. I'm sure it'll work fine until it doesn't.

    Not unusual 15 year old kids have to work hard in Pakistan.
    Life expectancy in Pakistan is extremly low.
    If he reached his 15th year of life, he'll be an old man and statisticaly more than 1/2 of his life is gone.

    • @stoopidpaki4806
      @stoopidpaki4806 Год назад

      Life expectancy in Pakistan is actually about 67 years. You can factcheck this with Google. What you see here is result of two aspects of Pakistani society. First the inequality and then the huhe informal economy. These workshops are operating informally and are not registered which is why everything is so makeshift. They survive by being the cheapest - in fact so cheap that it is economically competitive to go to them even if the quality of work or certification does not match the formal sector.

    • @billyyank5807
      @billyyank5807 Год назад +1

      Bet it last longer than you would ever expect lol. You think these guys don't know what they are doing? They do. They don't order random stuff. They are probably so familiar with these engines they know what to do.
      And what exactly does "real engine builder" even mean? What do you think these guys are doing? Building fake engines?
      Get real and show some respect. They are working with what they have and doing pretty dang well.
