It's amazing how they can do all that work without the use of all that modern tools, gauges and such, oh !, and without the proper attire(uniforms, steel toe shoes, hand gloves, protective eyes ware, etc) Regarding all those negatives comments, just think as maybe that is the only way they can do it, because those tools is all they have and can afford to get the job done ? Of course, all of you are entailed to your opinion, as I am to mine.

If there is one thing that steel gears, cogs, cranks, and transfer casings need, it's being laid directly on a surface consisting of sand, dirt, and pure filth also being beat with hammers and other objects, while prying with various tools always helps too !!! This video demonstrates how unprofessional a make-believe group of mechanics can be when disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, and reassembling a multi-cluster gear unit. It's not a case of how well the repair is done, it's how many bare-foot mechanics it takes and how fast it can be accomplished without the use of any industry-required tools.

It got dirty it got cleaned. On assembly it’s done on clean plywood by looks of it. New clutch plate new seals. If it goes back together correctly then good chance of working. Looks like they have done it before, knowledge on where everything goes and what it does is most important. I have seen people screw things up with the most expensive tools. if you have a cordless impact, you just put four guys out of work. they have one 16mil socket between the four of them, and not even a table or anything, just set those internal gears right down in the muck. no worries mate.

You can take the clothes of these “ mechanics” and solve the oil shortage by extract the oil from them. I also send a message to texaco to give insight as where to drill for oil 😂😂😂😂
Where’s the health & safety here? Open toed sandals! I cringe what the damage would be even if they dropped a bolt on their little toes let alone a heavy casting
The first and ONLY shop with a clean concrete floor. 👍👍

Gotta be a genius to put this back together! Awesome!
The guys do it almost every week, it's an automatic gearbox. you have to change the discs when they are worn out
Yes, they do it every week ( same gearbox😂😂😂😂)
Why , they have been watching since 6 years old.
Imagine giving them a dewalt impact gun.
Dear super high qualified professionals, please check oil level on your floor and refill if necessary !
They are going to drill for oil there, no need to be sarcastic 😂😂😂
Love the safety sandals...I'm amazed there gadgys still have a full set of tootsies!..😱😱😱
You have to love these guys working in the mud out in the open sky in their sandals and just gettin' 'er done.
Soooo much for torque specs!
Well done!👍☘️
I enjoyed this.
Damn, it looks like they only replace the seal but can't imagine how difficult it will be to assemble all those parts.
Even if oil had been drained off earlier those exposed cog wheels at 1:55 were completely dry which is a bit puzzling.
They wiped it down first cause cleanliness is a top priority
The title is rubbish. A mechanic replaced some seals in a disgusting dirty workshop. No torque wrench is sight, only a hammer !!
It's good that they were able to keep it to clean room specifications.
got to love those safety shoes everyone has on
Yawn. Those ‘safety’ comments do get boring.

I still am amazed at the mechanics knowledge of how these complex systems work.
Without them, we have a stick and some dirt. There are no Gods or Kings. Only men and their machines.

What did they repair?
replaced a few seals by the look of it.

In case you got sand in your eyes, every thing was cleaned before reassemble.
And then they can do it again next week
When are you sending over the box of tools?
Love their version of a speed wrench.
Super Super Job 👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
Pretty easy job seeing as they had Alvin and Theodore telling them what to do.

Final shot, there are missing some bolts on the big hatch.
still blows my mind that over there it's cheaper to have 4 people unscrewing bolts than it is to just buy a cordless impact.

What is this a transmission from?
Those mecs could find work in the African Aerospace program.
I kept having to tell him to move his fkn finger!
They never use socket tools and parts are everywhere but everything goes back together.
shows that they are more smarter than some of you
Glad they arent working on my car transmission.
Detach the part and drop it right in the dirt, this is the way to go. Don’t they want to reassemble it?
What do these people have against work benches and working clean ? What a mess.
If my safety guy see this He will have a hearth attack jjj
expert my arse more like bush mechanic
I did not see where he found the fault!
They need to spend some money on the snap on truck.
why don't you send them some
Do they voice the Minion movies??
The guys have knowledge but the tools and environment of work is not at all good.
@4:20 just throw it in the dirt...
To be fair , the dirt is soaked with oil
I see what's wrong ,all the internals are loose and worn from not being torqued ,reusing contaminated oil is also wear inducing procedure.
You can take the clothes of these “ mechanics” and solve the oil shortage by extract the oil from them. I also send a message to texaco to give insight as where to drill for oil 😂😂😂😂
Good work
the chance of this thing EVER working again are o to 10,000 as in no way
I'm sure this is all under warranty
Yes the old worn out Reliant Robin gearbox. No wonder the Robin would tip over on corners, just too much weighty sand in the oil.
well thank to Reliant Robin it tips over, otherwise these 4 fuckers would not have got a job
I guess in their country 1 sec = 1 hour
Where’s cousin it I can hear him
But why are there so many missing bolts in the last scene?
They are called wee bolts. If you have any left over, "wheeeee..."
I watched all this and no mention of the "Major Fault" anywhere. 👎 You got a dislike, mister.
Again; everything in sand…
does not seem like a few seconds to me.
