    One of the many reasons why I like Fusion 360, flexibility. If I want to model using surfaces, just like I used to do in Rhino, I can. Fusion 360 is so versatile and powerful, it's a pleasure to work with.

    • @zaviorhunt4845
      @zaviorhunt4845 6 лет назад

      Michael Cramblet hey lil help here. I need a laptop for my engineering design softwares. I am doin mechanical engineering. I can't spend 2-3k dollars on workstations. Can I run the softwares like Siemens NX ,solidworks, Inventor ,CATIA etc on geforceGTX 1060? Quadros are expensive. Intel i5 7th Gen, 16gb ram, with SSD , and GTX geforce 1060 is all that I can afford.. .

    • @josipandresic881
      @josipandresic881 6 лет назад +1

      zavior hunt Yes, you sure can run them. You don't need a workstation to run Solidworks, my 4GB RAM laptop from 2013 with no SSD could run SW 2016. Now I have a 16GB RAM with SSD and 2GB VRAM, but use Fusion and it's good, but sometimes I have problems when there's too much features, due to my hasty way of modelling.

    • @zaviorhunt4845
      @zaviorhunt4845 6 лет назад

      Josip Andrešić thanks for replying. Humanity still alive.😂. But I want to work on Siemens NX and catia more. Will they run on that hardware??

    • @josipandresic881
      @josipandresic881 6 лет назад

      zavior hunt I've never used those 2, but I guess you can. The question is at what point of the process or at what feature will it work a bit slower. I can't tell you much, people who use same programs for the same use (I'm a designer, not an engineer) could tell you more.

    One suggestion: Having done a lot of surface modeling lately, I think it would be nice to have an expanded dialog box for the Trim tool that works like the Split Face/Body tools. I had a lot of difficulty with the Trim tool because of how it's set up - even to the point where I opted to do multiple Split Face/Body commands combined with Face Delete or Remove.
