  • deWiz co-founder Markus Westerberg takes you through the steps in using deWiz to develop more club head speed and lengthen your backswing.
Step 1: Find your baseline Length of Backswing while hitting a golf ball in Discovery Mode.
Step 2: Push yourself with practice swings to see how long of a swing you can make.
Step 3: Go into Practice Your Length of Backswing Mode and begin setting the Minimum Backswing Length a few inches longer than your initial baseline.
Step 4: Keep upping the Minimum Length to push yourself and develop a longer swing.

I bought a deWiz back in February but it wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago I started really using it with discovery mode for keeping on plane. I seemed to do ok with that as between the time I bought it and tried it I took some lessons. I took it out while playing in course mode, but I’m having a hard time with checking and entering details on each shot as I need to keep pace with other players and not have my head buried in my phone. I also duplicate shots and don’t know which one to delete, so I delete the 1st one assuming it was my practice swing. So I went to see the stats after playing and it ends up being an overwhelming amount of stats and wish it would over me an overall evaluation. So I quit wearing it in the course and now have thought of using next for the back swing and getting it longer would be my next way of using my deWiz, and now you came out with this fantastic tutorial on what I want to do next with it. I will give it a go next chance I get in the coming month, so thanks as this way seems to be the best way for me to learn how to use my deWiz!!! 😊😊😊

Hey, thanks for your comments! We are continuing our work with On Course Mode in our effort of making it as easy as possible. If you're simply playing a friendly ground / practice round you can now enable "Practice round" when playing on course which will give you visual and spoken feedback after every shot. Try it out and see if it better fits your needs :)
